Reading reports that JT is going to hang up his boots at the end of the season and return to Chelsea in a coaching capacity (not clear at what level) as he feels this is an ideal way for him to ultimately become Chelsea manager one day

Just be good to have him around the place again and hope that others would feed of his infectious desire to win and lead in all aspects of life and his career. Not sure if it would be too early or not but to have JT working with Conte I see as only a plus for the Club as a whole as both could learn and feed off each other and JT would certainly help get that winning mentality and comradeship back in the dressing room. Just to back up exactly what we are missing there is an interview with Aina just posted on the official web-site. The following question was asked and this is part of his response…:

Your first game for Hull was away to Aston Villa, who had a new captain in their ranks
It was a good day. JT came over to me before the game, gave me a hug, congratulated me on my move and told me to enjoy the season and play well. He has always given me confidence and it was good to see him.

If JT can bring some of that back to the Bridge then for me, that will be a significant step forward. KTBFFH

Ok i’m a little bit pessimistic about this. if it is about taking the reign as first team head coach. i think that is not a wise decision. but if its as a member of coaching staff, yes i would welcome that. and even better if we retain Conte.
