I can’t go thorough a season like this again! This causes me to much stress!! We have loads of goals in the team but can not keep a clean sheet! Which is same old same old! Holding had a shocker he needs Per behind him other wise he gets carried away and keeps giving the ball away. Mustafi is fit so he will be back that will make a difference and Kos is out for one more game but we Still conceded to many chances against us. It was a make shift back four but it does not seem to change whoever we play. I just hope this was one of those in the season where we did not play well but won! Any way happy days I will take that!

Well, where the game is concerned I’m just going to enjoy the result. It was an entertaining welcome back to the PL.Obviously we were a shambles defensively but we were good going forward.Ox was something else.

After all we were missing,Kol,Mustafi,Gabriel and BFG. Am sure 1/2 of them woulda make a huge difference. What Am worried about was 2 things that keep occurring often under Wenger. 1. Slow movements. When they pass, most of our players don’t move/create a space. 2. Mentality. Right before we concede the 2nd goal, we had 75% of possession then we lost it and couldn’t get 2 passes right for a while. Things happens in football, but dropping your head after you concede should be the last thing for a club like Arsenal.

Didn’t we start last season against Liverpool with a make-shift defence? Last year several players were missing because of the Euro championship in France, now we have Mustafi missing after playing for Germany in the Con Fed cup. I noticed his German team-mate Rudiger managed to play for Chelsea in the Charity shield and against Burnley.

steve2bath1- he will never learn anything from Mertesacker, the German is hopeless, with about one good game in the past five years ( FA Cup Final).he should have been shown the door two seasons ago not paid £3m+ per year to endorse everything The Dictator does at news conferences.
