red blood: R, true enough mate if only we had both put a ton on it eh.?

I don’t think Claudio is that far away with his predictions although I would probably replace Chelsea with Liverpool from his list although I’m hopeful that Chelsea with 2 or 3 key signings and Conte in charge might not be too far off of reclaiming their CL place.

But ” It’s a funny old game Saint”

Nine, I read a few weeks ago that Willian is finding it hard motivating himself with nothing to play for. I find that amazing as putting that shirt on should be enough motivation in itself. Surely that’s today’s footballer in a nutshell. Without any Euro footy how will he motivate himself next year? I guess he has to look forward to the midweek rest so he can motivate himself to go for the title!
On another note Leicester with the title, financial support from their owners and now new following in the Far East may not be a flash in the pan. Money will not only talk but be singing operas next season and the old top 4 may be no more!

Think Utd will beat them. I think the league is a given for Leicester and what an unreal story. A proper under dog story. I tipped raineri to be the first to be sacked. Really thought he was done as a manager considering how poor he was at the Greece job. It’s unreal. It really is hard to fathom but delighted they may do it. It’s unreal. Brilliant for the premier league

metaxa, as it happens with a bit of a makeover of the squad with some signings, some additional youngsters added to the squad and one or two loan returnee’s being added to the squad too plus some departures and with a new Manager coming in with different ideas on tactics etc no European football next season might well be a blessing in disguise purely taking all of the above into account.

Conte is according to all reports a hard task master so I suspect he will be rattling the player cages to get them motivated and focussed on the domestic competitions and in particular trying to reclaim a CL place.

We’ll see re the future personally I think it’s unlikely that we will see such poor performances collectively again from thev usual suspects and imo with CL football to cope with Leicester will do well to be up and around the top 8 next season but only time will tell..

One of the great old names returning to the top flight. That would be wonderful for Wednesday and for football.
I hope they adopt that great strip they had back in the day, like arsenal’s but blue instead of red with long white sleeves.
I remember going to Hillsborough, sometime before the last ice age, and they were wearing that strip.
Wolves versus Sheffield Wednesday, always a classic….

Westy, great win and had Wednesday in my acca.

This league needs a Leeds and most definitely a Sheffield Wednesday.

I hope the Owls can win the play offs 🙂

999-Jokes aside mate,i really don`t expect United,Chelsea,City, challenging for the title next season.New managers coming in[if Jose to United, reports are true],they are all
faced with rebuilding squads, whereas teams like Liverpool,Spurs, will have no such issues
    to deal with.

It’s a little tricky to call Redblood mate.

As a footy fan, Westham have been one of the impressive teams of the Prem this season bar Leicester and Tottenham.

    Cheers

red blood: R, far too much water to flow under the bridge between now and the season opening yet to make a sensible assesment imo and much depends on who buys who.

But I have a leaning towards City under Guardiola, tbh I’m not expecting Chelsea to be challenging for the title next season best Chelsea can hope for imo is a tilt at trying to reclaim their CL place and even that won’t be easy. Cheers 999

Well the 1st of May, and here we are.

    I can’t believe it.

I believe Leicester will pick up a draw at the very least and avoid defeat.

    Phew. Scary.

Big big call by Michael Oliver – could have been a red for Simpson.

If that had been a foul against Simpson then Vardy’s red against Hammers shouldn’t have been. It was no different.
