Hiddink is being linked as a possible caretaker to the summer at Leicester. They won’t get anyone in before tomorrow, but we will have to be wary of a backlash. The Leicester players have taken some severe & deserved criticism since the Ranieri sacking. They will be up for the game.

I fully endorse and back what thegellerbing said.

Taxi- and it’s why I don’t visit here as much any more too.

There’s one common denominator and nothing is ever done about it.

Welcome back Taxi, ignore any posters that irritate you. Ginger, don’t get pulled into it like I did. Its best to leave it to Nine & Nil, whatever is going on they will resolve it I am sure of that.

So I pop back in after a couple of weeks of not bothering to see if there’s any good reading about the upcoming game & to my absolute amazement I find one of the better posters caught up in another mini stouch with none other than the resident knob head.
I should’ve known better I suppose, it’s the weekend so it’s to be expected, then he’ll come on during the week crying poor me & looking for sympathy.
No wonder this site is losing good posters.
Like Taxi I’ll only be popping in for a look here & there but will not post f all.
Take care folks, hopefully we will go on a good run & finish top 4.

Hey Taxi, good to see that you’re at least still reading here.

nil, you should have made your comment about Nine in the Back Room thread and we could have avoided this one being derailed. . but lets get it back no track.

Does anyone dare make a score prediction for this one, or has the firing of Ranieri just made any result/score possible?

Lads, I think you all know me well enough to know that I don’t come on here to try and cause problems.

I enjoy posting on here because of the majority of you guys on here and I would never post about Liverpool in a negative way but if I’m to make any sort of reasonable contribution to your site I think I have to view and comment on Liverpool issues through non Liverpool eyes in a respectful way and that’s what I like to think I try and bring to the site

Like Taxi, Number 8 and others I’m thoroughly fed up with all this ongoing nonsense and it’s not only on here it manifests itself it’s on the other sites on Teamtalk too and I’ve seriously thought about jacking it in on here and the main site because of it and it’s only my sheer bloody-mindeness that keeps me posting on here and on the main site.

The reality is that this site can’t afford to continue losing top posters like Taxi and Number 8 or for regular top posters like Ginger to hold off posting out of frustration.

I don’t know what the solution is to this problem which unfortunately pretty much pops up every weekend but going forwards I guess I need to follow my own advice and completely ignore all of the nonsense as hard as that may be sometimes.

Now back to the footie big Final today and a big PL game tomorrow and I would just like to endorse Sanji’s post @10:16am. 🙂 Cheers 999

    Mr Mak,

I’ve put the link up here. http://www.teamtalk.com/your-say/topic/the-back-room

Sanj, there was a disagreement spilled from another thread and I was taken to task which I didn’t appreciate yet other Liverpool supporters are able to voice their disgust on the Ranieri sacking. Anyway, that was resolved, so nothing happened.

Now here’s the interesting pattern I find. If there are not visitors/posters posting regularly, then out of a 100 threads, how do they conveniently appear on here? It’s as if they are looking for it and no comment (would you believe!) on the upcoming match itself.

So much for my apology towards Number 8, met with a cracking insult. The way I see it, it’s nothing because I’m never going to set eyes on these people or take any form of ‘relationship’ from here to another level (outside teamtalk). Just goes to show you can’t trust many out there because you never know when they’ll stick the knife in.

Anyway, said my piece. When I say I don’t come on throughout the week, I actually stick by my values/principles – albeit I’ve had a great convo and fun with few of the other guys on classic cars on another thread so that’s maybe worth considering and perhaps ommiting myself from match threads or any talk surrounding Liverpool.

Back to the game and it still for me falls back to the weaker teams raising their game towards us. That’s been admittedly the slight anxiety built up. Maybe best to steer clear of this – not good for the heart and soul.

Nine it’s quite clear what the solution is.
Unfortunately you talked the only guy with the power to implement it out of doing it.

Sensible, are you implying that I’ve been lurking in the shadows but never posting? Then yeah, you’re right, I really dont have anything constructive comments to give.I dont articulate myself very well, thus I don’t post at all. But seriously, how self-centered are you? No one here is on a witch hunt to drive you away, you brought this all up onto yourself, demanding posters to focus on positives, throwing a tantrum once discussions doesnt go the way you like. Posters here constantly praised you for your contributions in the past, and you dragged that name through the mud yourself. Don’t blame anyone on here, at least on the Liverpool page for getting fed up with you, you were your own downfall.

Nil why have you copied the link and then gone on about it more in here? I’m going to copy and paste some of what you’ve said here into the Back Room because we do want to talk football here.

God, it’s boring when we don’t have a game. There’s little football this weekend that excites in all honesty. Chelsea got their inevitable win yesterday, and it really is theirs to lose now. I imagine Spurs will win comfortably this afternoon, and I hate to say it, but United will also. We should be at Wembley this afternoon…that really was a chance lost by our boys last month. A chance for Klopp to win his first cup at Anfield, and we blew it big time.

As for tomorrow, you never know how it will go with us. Leicester really have been poor, and as I said somewhere else on this thread, it’s not just Kante missing and Vardy and Mahrez being poor, but for me, Morgan and Huth have been found out this year, maybe because they haven’t had Kante protecting them, but they really have looked what they are…slow, cumbersome, aging and bang average centre backs. Mane especially could have a field day against them.

Having said all that, if the Leicester players have any pride at all, they will come out fighting tomorrow. As ever, the first goal will be all important. If they concede early, they could collapse like a pack of cards, but conversely, the longer they hold on, the more nervous we inevitably get, players and fans.

But I’m feeling optimistic, so I’m going for a 3-0. Seems a long time ago that you predicted an 8-0 win, eh, Mr Mak?

The thing that concerns me a little is those players now have to perform. They can no longer hide behind Claudio and just perform when it comes to the glitz and glamour.

It’s worse for us as they’re now in the bottom 3. They’ll have to be up for this for more than one reason. We on the other hand have been soft and have rolled out the red carpet for the likes of Hull and Swansea already so no defeat really can be afforded.

The positive for us though is that compared to last season, we have a better array of players and it’s effectively being able to absorb all the furore for the first 20 minutes and getting our noses in front.

Quite often, we have been jekyll and hyde when it comes to the first half and the second half, so mentality, we’ll be put through the mill and have to bring out those qualities that will clearly state that none of Leicester’s bravado will faze us, and we’re ultimately out too do a job for ourselves and earn 3 points.

    2 – 1 to us.

But it will not be an easy match.
