Same team I would have picked except maybe Kolarov for Clichy to form a back 3 with Fernandinho dropping back to RB and Kolarov out to lb when required. Yaya is key, needs to pick the ball up off the CBs and Gk quickly, bypass Liverpool high press and get the ball over to Silva and KDB behind the Liverpool press

Hopefully Fernandinho won’t be stuck at right back. He’s not a full back. We’ll see if it’s 3 at the back. We’ll see if you’re right mcfc psych. We need to take our opportunities given defending isn’t our best suit. Be interesting to see if the guys are still affected by the Monaco result.

Kompany is done for top flight football I’m afraid Adlab, he and the club know it but just hasn’t been announced yet

We’ll have Kompany down here at Clevedon Town! How do you know mcfc psych that Kompany is finished at the top flight? May as well say now rather than keep on paying him.

Poor but once again cheated by the so called referee. There was no way that was a penalty and he knew it.
    Again we missed two many.

Caballero shows what our season might have been like even if he had been in goal.

Well I thought it was an exceptional game of football – similar to Monaco (home) but not as many chances converted.

I think Pep has a point if we take our chances then these games are long gone and what the ref or defence do is incidental (Chelsea was similar). I have no ideas how we improve the side to be more clinical

Credit to both teams for a hugely entertaining game

Suprised you were so critical Cityboy, I thought the one thing we couldn’t fault in the game was the commitment and desire from the team, thought everyone did all they could for the team. Something that we used to have cause to complain about but if you reflect on this season, it’s never been lacking under Pep, just our lack of quality in certain positions, which have been exposed more now than previously due to the open way we play under Pep

Sterling should go on a re branding initiative, referees instinct is to give him no decisions atm
