Jeezus is that right, we’ve got spurs after manu? That’s a big fat 0 points from the next 2 then & us miles behind top 4. As I said a couple of weeks ago top 4 will be out of sight by the Jan window. We are A very predictable one dimensional team with no spine. Some will tell you it’ll all of a sudden just miraculously click & we will start blowing teams away with our flashy play. Reality is its going to be a Long long season.
October 2, 2017 at 5:16 am #1539610Klopp needs to see Rafa and take a crash course on how organise a defence.
October 2, 2017 at 5:16 am #1539611*how to organise*
October 2, 2017 at 6:14 am #1539614Davinici agree we still need recruits in as a lot of us stated and Klopp took the call not to bring in others, however agree we will thump a team soon and despite all the thoughts on here we are not a million miles away from 4th place.
Again I’d go to a 4231 and believe this would get more out of us. And we need to play 2 up top in some games. We need to be able to vary our tactics as we are a little too predictable in some games (Sean we agree there).
October 2, 2017 at 6:26 am #1539616Bob we aren’t a million miles away from top 4 yet mate but that’s like saying we can mathematically still win the EPL. As the games come & go people will have no choice but to accept we are a 1 dimensional team with no spine & no chance of winning anything in the near future. We can hope & dream & I can be called a negative Nellie but truth is we are going nowhere soon & the only tonking we will be involved in is the one manu will dish out in a couple of weeks.
October 2, 2017 at 7:16 am #1539636Totally agreed some of the comment here. We really need to invest a new spine, from GK, DF, CDM, ST. All this department need an upgrades. Epl is very competitive, if we dont act then every seasons will be hoping. Look at the top teams GK department, we’re are so weak, DF we are weak, Midfield weak too only the attacking we can compared to the top teams and yet no ST can get us 20+ goals a season. We wasted this season transfer market not solving our problem. But Klopp need to stay till he fix it. I already give up this season. With our defence MU will run riot in our penalty area and will pump long ball on for Lukaku and Fellaini. Darks day are coming here to stay for a long time this seasons.

We all know your Mr Men from their descriptions, thank you for including my two Mr Men, but I have to ask a question, how many times has Mr Butterfingers dropped the ball in the last 30/40 games?
This is not specifically a question aimed at you but all who still criticise Migs.,
Watch this space!!October 2, 2017 at 10:28 am #1539740I thought maybe this will even make the Liverpool fans smile, or maybe not… A guy is walking along a beach when he comes across a lamp partially buried in the sand. He picks up the lamp and gives it a rub. A genie appears and tells him he has been granted one wish. The guy thinks for a moment and says, “I want to live forever.” “Sorry,” said the genie, “I’m not allowed to grant eternal life.” “OK, then, I want to die when Liverpool win the premiership” “You crafty git” said the genie.
October 2, 2017 at 10:56 am #1539780what are the chances Klopp will be manager come the Huddersfield game?

October 2, 2017 at 1:31 pm #1539897We play United at Anfield Davinci = not that it makes much difference as we’re missing the target everywhere.
October 2, 2017 at 1:53 pm #1539919Haven’t been on here for a few days – so just having a quick scan down the post-game comments and what is noticeable is so many posts criticising our defence yesterday. Yes, agree, it’s got its problems in general, but yesterday Mignolet was a virtual passenger for 90 minutes. One moment when the CBs were caught a bit square, but Matip recovered sufficiently to counter the mistake only to suffer the spawniest bit of bad luck imaginable.
Once Newcastle had a point to cling on to, then they were happy to defend and frustrate; if the deflection off Joselu had squirmed a foot the other side of the post, they would have had to open up more to try and get something from the game and we may well have gone on to get a comfortable win. When are we going to get a few breaks at either end of the pitch?Cue responses of “you make your own luck”.
October 2, 2017 at 4:34 pm #1539975red herring, our luck is really down at the minute. ive always said we are a bit cursed.
we havent got much go our way this sesaon.
October 2, 2017 at 5:20 pm #1539992That joke made me laugh themartial Art… You got to laugh
October 2, 2017 at 6:17 pm #1540001Could not find any positives after the draw. Bournemouth-Liverpool 3-4 revisited again after two years. Why only Matip and Lovren were in our half when we were leading? Henderson was nowhere to be seen when Newcastle launched their single attack.
Klopp seems to be sawing the branch on which he is sitting. Letting Lucas leave when he was delivering some very good performances in 2017, even linking well with the forwards. He was the only player who had enough foresight to show some caution when the opponents were forced to have a go at us. Lucas wanted game time but did he do enough to convince him to stay? With the amount of games we have this season he could easily have given him assurances to start at least 20 games just in the PL.
Sturridge isn’t a striker anymore, he should be redeployed in midfield. I doubt that we will go for a striker in January and we can’t even get Origi back until the end of the season.
October 2, 2017 at 7:40 pm #1540036captkirk, you would’ve thought that our best two centre halves would have been enough against one forward (a historically non potent striker). No need to put anymore players back. The def mid also in front of these two would be enough but, alas, again, it wasn’t.
October 2, 2017 at 8:03 pm #1540053You are so right CaptKirk – Lucas doing well in SerieA with Lazio
October 2, 2017 at 8:04 pm #1540054@mwake – Glad it makes you laugh. You’ve got Utd coming up next. This game can turn things around for Liverpool’s season or you are getting an absolute clobbering. Look forward for good-natured banter after the game
