Odd this because this is the type of game I would’ve expected Henderson not to start as opposed to the Man U game which leads me to think he will start along with Wij and Can. Yes?
Up front, same three, at the back maybe Matip in for Lovren although Klopp may keep him and TAA in as confidence builders after their mauling at the hands off Lukaku and Rashford (who, btw, won’t score again this season! – he’s done his job!).
Watford, thus far, have been so up and down. They seem to win one, draw one, lose one…which will work for staying in the PL which is their sole focus.
They got beat 3-0 at a wounded Arsenal last weekend and I expect them to get beat again this Saturday.
Hopefully, we’ll feel wounded too, and grab an essential three points, as we will have played a game more than our counterparts who have FA Cup action, a competition that we should still be in but we lost to a West Brom side that hasn’t looked even close to scoring two goals in a game never-mind three……….let it go Rob!
I fully expect Deeney to score against us so I’m going for 3 or 4-1.
Got to go, Jossie’s Giants is about to start….
March 14, 2018 at 2:26 pm #1612221fully expect us to bounce back on sat and win.
March 14, 2018 at 3:29 pm #1612266Watford are no pushovers but I fully expect a win.
On a slightly different note, Kane’s out for 4 weeks. Spurs rely on him heavily for goals. Looking like he’ll miss the Chelsea and city games.
Could be beneficial for us.
March 14, 2018 at 3:38 pm #1612279He is Ginger but during the dozen or so games last season that he missed Spurs only lost once. Hope their wheels fall off big time tho as I’ve never witnessed a team that dives as much as that lot. I want Karma to majorly prevail.
March 14, 2018 at 4:28 pm #1612305Spurs and Chelsea don’t play in the PL now until April (and then they play against each other on the 1st) and we have a good opportunity to pocket 6 points in the meantime and apply some pressure. On paper, you have to fancy our chances of winning against Watford at home a bit higher than away to Palace, but on balance, we should be able to get maximum points.
March 14, 2018 at 5:19 pm #1612325The team picks itself, this is how I would line up:
Karius
Gomez Matip VVD Robertson
Can Henderson Wijnaldum
Salah Firmino ManeThis is a must win game, and hope they boys release their anger from last week’s loss on Watford – by giving them a hammering
March 14, 2018 at 5:47 pm #1612328I got to say I feel pretty good about our chances in the coming months, I can see another good run if not greater coming around, the lads just have to keep their eyes on the goal. Take each game as they come and treat it like a Cup final. My expectation remains the same, three points at home and one away.
On another note, the draw is on friday right?
March 14, 2018 at 6:56 pm #1612352It is Friday NB, 11am GMT.
March 15, 2018 at 9:08 am #1612558Easy peasy we gonna 4 nilsy
March 16, 2018 at 8:11 pm #1613427This will be a hard game, Watford have some of the biggest players in the league but MAn Utd match should have given us some training for that 😉
We have to be on our game, I would pick the same team as last week but have Can, Gini, Henderson in midfield.
I think this will be a 2-1 win for us.
Key Man for Watford Abdoulaye Doucouré (This guy could be interesting summer target)
March 16, 2018 at 8:20 pm #1613429Yep mwake, he scored against us in the 3-3. Him and Deeney the ones to watch.
March 16, 2018 at 9:13 pm #1613437We need to take maximum points against Watford & Palace before Tottenham play Chelsea in April. We have a massive CL distraction coming up & have to play the bluenoses during it. It’s fair to say the toffees will be looking forward to the timing of that game. A Chelsea win against Spurs will put them back in for top 4 contention & with us yet to play them at Stamford Bridge. It could come down to the last game of the season again to settle it. Exciting games ahead where every member of the squad will be required & tested to the fullest. Ynwa
March 17, 2018 at 7:06 am #1613462Must win game and we need to be tough on the pitch as no doubt Watford will try and unsettle us physically.
I think we will win. Not too much rotation at this point please Klopp.
March 17, 2018 at 9:59 am #1613514Should have enough to win this game, I’d be very disappointed if we don’t & any result other than a win will make qualifying for the C/L again a tough job with bogey Palace up next & still to play chelski away.
March 17, 2018 at 1:45 pm #1613667Very confident we will bounce back with a win today. Just no mistakes at the back
March 17, 2018 at 2:39 pm #1613690Apart from one game (where we beat them 5 or 6) we seem to make hard work of games against Watford. We simply MUST win this and the next game against Palace otherwise we can kiss top four bye bye.

March 17, 2018 at 4:18 pm #1613746I’ve heard 4 and 5-0 predictions before. Like Everton, West Brom and Swansea. we won none of those games.
March 17, 2018 at 4:35 pm #1613756Team exactly as I predicted, no excuses today, let’s get the 3 points, don’t care about the score
March 17, 2018 at 4:47 pm #1613763Anyone else has a bad feeling about this game? Everybody thinks we’ll just steamroll watford so the players might play with less intensity. A bit like the swansea game. Just a little bit worried.
