Just buy this guy now. He’s an absolute superstar – electric. And Bernardo Silva and a couple more to be honest. Citeh may eventually go through but Monaco play the game the way it should be played.

His second goal probably was just off side, but great finish none the less

jm1502 – Shades of Henry in my mind.

Just 18 and as you said he has class written allover him. I also like the look of Mendy and Fabihino.

Mbappe is producing the goods on a regular basis at the moment both at domestic and European level, more than I can say for Martial but then again, regular game time must be an aid in hitting this kind of form. Any number of clubs must be eyeing him up at the moment.

Mbappe reacts after being asked if he’ll join Man Utd

Interesting response, seems to be a level headed young fella. He doesn’t say he wants to join or anything but he seems to be an honest young player who just wants to get better and work hard. If this is what he’s really like then we could do with him, too many freeloaders on the squad who just want to collect their oversized paycheck

Right lets see… We have Martial as well as Rashford who, like Mbappe, have massive POTENTIAL. Having read some of the meltdown from Rashford’s performance yesterday, do we really need another young player with a ridiculous price tag that would already put pressure on him before he has warmed up for a competitive game? Do we really need that? As far as forwards go, splash the cash on Griezmann and get a center midfielder or 2, a CB and RB.

IF there’s a player who is flying under the radar but will massively improve us, is greatly under utilized at his club, his name is Javi Martinez.

Looks a great player…watch us offer £30m more than anyone else for him and he turns out to be the Frenchman Gary Birtles

He seems to be already delivering on his potential, unlike Martial.

More a comment about us than him jm1502. Not questioning his ability, more the barmpot state of our club the last few years.

To pay £50/60 mill. for a youngster who’s had very little experience is plain stupid, and I don’t expect a hard nosed money man like Woodward to fall for it.
If Woodward/JM think Mbappe one for the future then they should make the club’s interests known to Monaco by putting down a sizeable deposit to possibly buy at the end of next season.

Haha thats hilarious mate,so Ed Wudwud is a “hard nosed money man” now is he?!.Must have been someone else then who flatly refused to meet Everton’s 24M buyout clause for Fellaini by insisting they take 28M or its no deal!.Also,I can’t remember which joker it was who thrust 37M big ones at Chelsea for a player they were desperate to get rid of at the time,ie Juan Mata.
I could go on and on about the obscene amounts of our money this so called “hard nosed business man” has spunked away on average to shit footballers but I think I’ve made my point!.

@Blacky-Come on mate, that deal must have been great to negotiate-from Everton`s point of view!
    Man United-We want Fellaini!
    Everton-He will cost you £24m!.
    Man United-Not good enough,either £27.5m or no deal,got it?
Everton-Errrrrrr,errrrrr………. deal.Putting the phone down laughing their arses off, they open a bottle of bubbly and say to each-other;did we just sold a plank who is not worth more than £500k for £27.5m?
Must have been Rodney Trotter negotiating on out behalf,surely!.Hahaha.
