Referees like this absolutely so piss me off.

In such an important game,he so simply send coquelin off with a second yellow, yet a few yards away he dosen’t give dier a second yellow for a blatant pull back.Spurs second goal was offside as well.

I’m not going to defend Arsenal’s title challenge, simple truth is we have a piss poor mentality and don’t deserve to win it.

But as far as refereeing decisions go,I really can’t remember the last time we had any luck on our side.Definitely not this season.Referees are just inviting for the players to put pressure on them during decisions with their inconsistent decisions. As simple as that.

You got luck on your side when Bellerin wasn’t sent off a few minutes later, and no it wasn’t offside

Are you stupid or something???We had the momentum to our side when Dier should’ve been sent off.Had he been,we probably would have scored and won.But ref ruined it with his decision.

What I don’t understand is how easily he sent off coq but for a blatant pull back how he let dier be on the pitch.

That was just piss poor refereeing, refs are supposed to even the game out not favour teams!!!!!

Dier should have Walked, Bellerin also Lucky to have stayed on the pitch,But to say Spurs Second was Offside,You need to get to specsavers Mate, Dele Alli was half a Yard ONside before the back Heel for Kane’s superb Goal.

Michael Oliver did well let the game flow. Ali was nowhere near offside you realy are blind as well as biased.
The only mistake the ref made was not sending Bellerin off, he probably thought it a bit much to put Arsenal down to 9, so when Dier did not go, he was just evening it up for not sending Bellerin off.
Yes off course I’m biased, but lets see what the neutrals say?

Or something the special needs one, Dier should have gone so should Bellerin, your biased interpretation of the context makes no difference to the laws of the game.

Take your whinging meltdown to the arse page if you can’t handle people disagreeing with you here, bell.

Both Dier and Bellerin should have gone. No point in anybody falling out about it now though after the game is done and dusted.

Wow,people are really delusional on here.

People are misinterpreting the point, fact is referee took out a second yellow so easily for coquelin. In a possible title decider,in an NLD he made such an important decision to send off the man of a team so easily.Haven’t we seen so many refs give a warning to the player before sending him off even thought that foul is deserved of a second yellow?
Ok I’m not even complaining about that, fair enough if that’s the way the ref was judging the game.

But where is the consistency?????Blatant pull back on giroud right before his eyes and he dosen’t send off dier? That’s what I’m upset about. If the ref’s performance is in a certain tune,it should be so.What he showed was simple double standards.

And for all the deluded people who are using bellerin as an example, sure he also should have been off.But see it in the context of the game.It was in the last minutes, and had dier been sent off before,we had all the momentum we would definitely be going for the win and have scored another one to win it.

I’m not even saying that Arsenal deserve to win the title, but ref in england are so poor.

Crawl on here every time Arsenal drop points and scream his anger like a banshee. It faults others being delusional when he clearly is the one deluded. that’s the specialone for you.

Come on get real man! Shame Coquelin was sent off but it was fully deserved. Both Eric Dier and Bellerin should have been sent off too. That said, it is probably a fair result. Spurs played well for the first half hour, then Arsenal were on top, not much going on in the second until Coquelin walked, Spurs had another 15 minutes of being on top and then you’d have to say Arsenal finished the game stronger.

People using Bellerin foul as an example to even things out with Eric dier foul have got their heads so far up their arses they really do not know what “Context means”.

Had dier been sent off, which he should have been only for the fact coquelin had been for a similar foul. The game could swing in any direction considering there are even number of players on the pitch.

Need I remind you that we had all the momentum at that time and were looking the more likelier team to score. With their player being sent off,we would have most likely done so to win an important must win game. For all we know bellerin would never have to commit that foul which was late in the game anyways.

I’m just trying to make a simple point, and today is yet another example of absolutely poorly the refs favour Arsenal. We haven’t had any ref luck this season whatsoever or ever for that matter.

I thought Coq’s first yellow card was weak and shouldn’t have been shown.

I’m convinced that our form and results have been drastically affected by poor/biased officiating going against us all season in fact.

Not related to the London Derby, but I was generally pleased with the Refereeing at Vicarage Road.

Now evidently clear that Officials out there are able to suss out simulation – a few Hornet players out there falling down cheaply to buy a free-kick, even a penalty at one point!

Coq’s first card was stupid on his part, not weak…deliberate handball, that’s a yellow, end of story…

Deliberate handball because he thought he was fouled and went to pick the ball up to take a free kick.
Obviously he should’ve played to the whistle but his offence deserved a free kick at worst, not a yellow card, therefore it was a weak call.
    End of story!

Nah mate, Coq isn’t the ref, he doesn’t decide if he is fouled or not, that the ref’s job, he deliberately handled the ball…

Still. Didn’t deserve a yellow for that. Sometimes common sense ought to be shown by refs.
