@killeboye. Ronaldo is currently the top scorer in the Champions league.
November 22, 2017 at 1:16 pm #1560417pinezes69 – Of course you understand, or why would you be using a internet forum where everyone speaks english. Such a berk.
November 22, 2017 at 1:27 pm #1560426This thread has kind of changed direction.
November 22, 2017 at 1:53 pm #1560444@hatters, yeah but in La Liga he’s been absolutely woeful for Madrid and he’s scored 4 against Apoel which is the minimum you’d expect from him against a team like Apoel
November 22, 2017 at 1:58 pm #1560446I can’t see anyone past PSG. the way they are dismantling teams is amazing. i bet that if they face City they will beat them comfortably. the same may go for both United and City whom i feel are nowhere near the level of PSG. i will be surprised if an English team reaches the semis let alone lift the trophy.
November 22, 2017 at 2:22 pm #1560465PSG v City would be a mouthwatering match up imo. Can’t happen until the Qtr Finals at the earliest though.
November 22, 2017 at 2:48 pm #1560473@killeboye. I take your point that Ronaldo hasn’t hit the ground running in La Liga but my point still stands – Ronaldo is currently the top scorer in this competition and scored crucial goals in the knockout stages against Atletico Madrid plus he scored two against Juventus in the final – that was only 6 months ago. Write Ronaldo and Real Madrid off at your own peril.
November 22, 2017 at 2:57 pm #1560478Barcelona is the only team that can match or come close to PSG with Messi and Suarez only stars. City may sweep to victory in the league. but when it comes to Europe they will be underdogs. the only competitive league right now is the Italian Serie A. the other big leagues are all one horse race. PSG has made alot of progress in the last 6 years. kudos to them. Real Madrid seems to have reached the end of the cycle of this generation. they need refreshing. the same may go for both Barcelona and Bayern.
November 22, 2017 at 3:14 pm #1560489PSG are on form at the moment, just like City are – they’re the only truly on form teams in their respective leagues and, in the case of PSG, are a class apart everyone in that league. Likewise they faced Bayern Munich when they were completely off form.
When the competition gets serious in the Quarter Finals people might see things differently; Barcelona will be a big threat, Juventus are the masters of picking up underdog victories, Chelsea are no slouches in Europe either. Add in Real Madrid and Bayern Munich finally getting back to form and you can’t just say that PSG or City are going to waltz their way into a CL win. At this stage it’s all about reaching the next stage and hoping you draw an OK team in the Round of 16.
November 22, 2017 at 4:01 pm #1560508If the site had been Greek then it would have been easier for me.
November 22, 2017 at 5:00 pm #1560520Take Neymar and Veratti away from that PSG team and they are average team. i think the Neymar signing may have lifted everyone. they have a very good striker in Cavani. but Mpabe is not in the level of Neymar. i think City will beat them if they face, and i even fancy Chelsea, United and Spurs to beat them.
November 22, 2017 at 5:09 pm #1560523Disappointed that Drinkwater didn’t start this game. it would have been the perfect game for him.

November 22, 2017 at 11:12 pm #1560713That Willian dive :/
November 22, 2017 at 11:41 pm #1560717Wise Fan. Don’t agree at all that they would beat them easily, but it would be a great game. City and PSG look to be the best in Europe, and City might have the advantage of playing in a better league. However the exhaustion factor might count against them, especially with lack of a winter break

Was it worse than the Sterling dive a few weeks ago against Arsenal😃?
November 23, 2017 at 9:45 am #1560814Which team will stop PSG from winning the CL title???
November 23, 2017 at 9:55 am #1560818The CL winner is likely to come from one of PSG, City, Barca and Real but the gap between now and February can see teams slip out of form and others teams into form much will depend on the draw/draws and even the January transfer market Sanchez to City free to play in the CL could make a difference for instance.
November 23, 2017 at 11:57 am #1560896Barca looked ordinary against Juve last night, if Dybala leaves or gets injured Juve are screwed, everything good they did last night went through him. Don’t think Barca are going to win anything in Europe this season based on last nights efforts, having said that they rested Messi and he only came on with 15 or 20 mins to go. Didn’t do much though while he was on.
November 23, 2017 at 12:10 pm #1560900Those that were trying to claim that PSG won’t reach the final have their work cut out. PSG has set a record goals in group stages. i stand by my belief that PSG is the best team in Europe right now.
