Dallas, if true mate, yes it confirms how off the pace costa has become.

All his actions do is mask a horrendous return in front of goal. Blue pylon called it right back In January with a few others on here.

He won’t have played for Chelsea for nearly a year. It’s effectively a strike. It also means he’s done more sulking for the club than scoring goals in a nearly three year spell.

An appalling example to sport professionalism. Just let him go train with athletico and sell him to China in January.

While people are busy monitoring the Costa saga, i took time to follow the Morata progress. and i have to say i’m delighted to have such a talented striker at our disposal. once he settles like Costa. he will be an asset for the club.and let us remember that he has scored 5 goals in 5 matches for club and country since he joined us. although Costa was great player, he is not compatible with our club. he is a disgrace to our club. and if Conte said he has enough of this Conte antics. some posters need to respect the position of the manager and club. i don’t think if he has anyone who supports his disgraceful behaviour this summer. even the historically anti Chelsea football pundits have backed the club over Costa. but in Morata we have a player who is a goal poacher as well as quicker than Costa, but more importantly has no fiery character. another one i have observed, Morata is taking up the same positions that Costa had been taking. so some people who re jumping to the conclusion should be reminded, its actually Conte that develops this philosophy.

youngblue – Agree I think we have a gem in Morata, but let’s hope he does not settle exactly like Costa, eh?!

999 – Some years ago, didn’t we have a guy from NZ that owned a company that manufactured cricket bats? Can’t remember his username – began with an S – sercs???

I would be very interested to see the reaction of the crowd if Costa did come back to the Club and was picked for a game

I think the majority of us loved him previous to all this mucking about. After the way he has acted and the things he has said I would be interested to see/hear how the crowd reacts. Don’t think they would cheer his name but equally not convinced he would be booed…? KTBFFH

So the 2018 summer transfer window will close at 5pm the thursday before the first weekend of the new season.

    – This means Chelsea Will have to get business done early.
    – Less prolonged transfer Saga’s
    – Can start the season with a full team.
    – Player prices may drop due to the need to conclude business quicker.

    Im all for it.

Bort – I do not expect much change to the transfer window at all apart from the fact that the other leagues can still try and buy our players after our window has shut. Simply a case of being strong and saying NO like Soton with Van Dijk for example. KTBFFH

Looks like no Turkey move for Costa and we’re stuck with him until January at least.

Then if we are stuck with him, why can’t we not use him until January? Because he will definitely be a useful member of our squad, and he will score goals from now and then it only benefits Chelsea. But i know our management is very stubborn and will not have the team’s interest at heart should needs demand that way. It will be a win win situation. We get goals amd points plus decent fee, Costa will be match fit.

999…Costa is determined to be a thorn in Conte’s flesh.I feel it in my waters,I bet Conte gets cornered to climb down and play him if anything happens to Morata or Batshuyai with Costa having that stupid grin all over his face in triumph.I can just imagine what the consensus will be…Costa is still on our books,he’s registered for the EPL and the team’s welfare comes before Conte’s pride so Conte needs to put personal grieviances aside and play the tw@!

mtal, I guess you cant rule anything out and whilst Costa the footballer would be an asset to Chelsea Costa the man would be a disaster and foisting him on Conte potentially an even bigger disaster because any move to do that could well see Conte walk.

There are reports today of an AM delegation arriving in London to agree a deal for Costa with Chelsea and I would think that the club would be happy not to lose money on Costa just to rid themselves of the problem.

Despite AM’s transfer ban there’s nothing to stop them signing him now and Costa heading to Madrid now to get himself fit with AM which will probably take him the best part of 8 weeks anyway and leave him just a few weeks away from being able to play for AM again which is the best solution all round and leaves everybody happy. Here’s hoping eh. Cheers 999

Cant even believe fans would even suggest costa would play again for the club. 1905… would you cheer costa back onto the Stamford bridge turf like a moron?

My understanding is he’s training with the reserves and has been separated
From the other players. Act like a kid and play with the kids.
