Probably not nine but Im not saying its impossible, just highly unlikely, if I remember correctly it was Daglish who won it like that last time with Blackburn, before that it was Ferguson.

Jose has definitely had a breakdown, in the last two games he has been chatting in a friendly way to the opposing manager during the game instead of his normal behaviour of trying to blind the opponent by poking them in the eye.

It’s only a matter of time until Gazza turns up at his hotel with some chicken and a fishing rod.

Bingo, it’s a very different League now mate and given where City are now the size and quality of their squad and the likelyhood that they will continue to spend big plus the Manager they have it’s going to be a struggle for anyone to catch them and I can see City dominating the PL going forwards for some years to come.

Nine Liverpool aren’t expected to win the league. How are we supposed to Compete with utd and city? We have to sell our best players to buy. Utd, city and even Chelsea don’t need to do that. It’s very surprising we are ahead cheksea and no way is top 4 over. Chelsea are 4 points behind and more then capable of beating us at the bridge.

Ragas was called a rant. He was reading from a script so why shouldn’t Jose’s be called it aswell?

Only a very silly person would think utd are finished and it’s lauaghable to say Jose inherited a poor squad. Martial, De Gea, Rashford, Shaw, mata and others are all quality players. On top of that he’s paid huge money for pogba and others. It’s excuses for me. For Liverpool to even be competing with utd is a surprise. Them and city should be miles ahead of everyone.

Sean, it was a throwaway line based on Bingo’s assertion that if you don’t win the PL in two years you won’t win it.

Nobody can compete with this City squad/team with this Manager with their resources United are the only ones who might be able to eventually because of their financial might.

As for the squad that both Pep and Jose inherited there is no comparison ,City’s were a country mile ahead of the United squad that’s part of Jose’s problem he’s playing catch up and City have even more money than United.

Anyway Sean you’re out of step with your fellow Liverpool fans who post on here who after 6 games claim that Liverpool will win the title, now Salah is better than Messi and today Salah will win the Balon D’Or at Liverpool within the next two seasons.

But you’re the one who I take the most notice of buddie!😊

Having listened to both interviews it was cringe worthy. Yes he made some valid points but always talked himself up. Some of the things showed the club in s very bad light also. He may have done more damage internally with club and players.

so you agree that he is plotting his own downfall to be free to take over PSG?

After yesterday’s post match comments it’s clear Jose isn’t interested in endearing himself to his squad. The constant undermining comments and criticism cannot be going down well with the players. I’m with bingo in believing he is setting himself up to take over at PSG. It’s classic Jose. Next he’ll do a press conference where he’ll claim he’s not loved at OT. In the meantime he’s turning it into the Theatre of confusion.

That’s exactly it, nine. He shouldn’t do it in public. I’ve yet to hear one ex pro say that what he’s doing is right. How many other managers wring their players out in public? This is the last days of his Real and Chelsea tenures all over again.

There is a very identifiable trend when it comes to the curious case of Jose Mourinho. Why is it that everywhere he goes he doesn’t stay for long? Pretty obvious answer, he always does the same thing; demand a new long term contract, start trouble by criticising almost everyone and then wait to get the sack so he can collect his millions. Do you really think he cares about building a squad at Man U? Given how half the players he’s signed seem ill suited to his style of play you’ve got to wonder is he really that incompetent? Track record says he isn’t. He’s already started his usual nonsense, he’s just waiting for the payoff. Nothing but a mercenary.

There is an established pattern that is emerging from Mourinho’s appointments – of “Buy the Bus – Park the Bus – Crash the Bus”. The first 2 have now been accomplished and we’re beginning to see a driver at the wheel who is showing signs that the third is only the next double-bend away.

I think I speak for many United supporters when I say we kind of expected this. Maybe not already in his second season but soon after that. You can’t keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results and I find it hard to believe that the Old Trafford hierarchy didn’t see this coming sooner or later.

There’s a lot of debate among United fans surrounding the quality of our players. I, for one, think many of them simply aren’t good enough – either in terms of quality, mental strength or both. The team isn’t helped by having Mourinho at the helm, though. His negative tactics and baffling team selections have been well documented and while some say that he’s inherited a faulty squad (dating back to the end of the SAF era) he’s had the same as Guardiola to revamp it and plenty of cash to do so. He hasn’t gotten rid of the massive deadwood and his signings have hardly set the world on fire have they? There is clearly unrest in the dressing room and star players aren’t performing as they should. That’s obviously not entirely down to Mourinho but the buck must stop with him. He’s responsible for team selection, tactics and the atmosphere within the squad. The players don’t enjoy playing for him and by the looks of it, Mourinho doesn’t enjoy being here. I think he’s angling for the PSG job but would they take such a negative manager to try to turn things around for them?

Mourinho has always been able to point to results – well, now with those nothing to brag about what is actually left? A narcissistic man with an outdated approach, that’s what. His rant was far worse than Rafa’s infamous rant as he not only publicly threw his players under the bus (he’s got plenty of those lying around) but pissed on this clubs history – all while highlighting his own achievements. I imagine it’s quite funny for supporters of other clubs but for me it’s so disrespectful and unforgivable that I simply can’t wait to see the back of this charlatan. As everyone knows, that day will come sooner rather than later. I just hope we don’t have to suffer another season with Mourinho at the helm because no matter how much money he’ll be allowed to throw at the squad – nothing good will come out of it until one of the main sources of our problems has been removed.

I think he was being very humble. Refusing to take the credit for his achievements at Porto and Real. Both, he says, knocked out Utd at last 16 stage while he was their manager, yet if it is “heritage” that Utd get knocked out at last 16 stage, then no great credit due for doing it? What a prat.

Feel for Shaw I don’t think any player should be publicly picked out like he has been and not just the once. He needs to leave in the Summer now for certain.

Klopp is circa £70m in profit from transfers since he came whilst Jose has spunked probably more than £400m.

Klopp is more like £11.56m in profit but it certainly helps when you sell a player for £142m whereas Utd generally keep hold of their top players unlike Liverpool who constantly lose theirs to bigger clubs.

And Mourinho has spent £238.2m not £400m. If you’re trying to make a point don’t exaggerate the figures to try and prove it.

Mourinho is a tool and sours the reputation of Utd (even further some might say). His treatment of Shaw is nothing short of a disgrace and he’s also, imo, taken Martial and Rashford backwards as well as make players like Lukaku, sanchez and pogba look like Sunday league players at times.

Good to see you posting MT. Was wondering where you’d gone. Do you suppose if Utd win the FA Cup, he will be forgiven by fans for the unambitious football you’ve had to suffer at times?

Ye mt, not sure how we are competing with utd when we have to sell our best players.

Jose is Jose. He seems to be really losing it but I will never write him off

Utd can play good attacking football like Everton and atesnal away. He chooses not to

It’s a surprise how poor Sanchez has been. He’s been terrible and Rashford should be 1st choice wide left after destroying liverpool
