I’m sure the owners will have someone in mind – personally I would like to see Hodgson back in football management.

October 17, 2017 at 9:44 pm #1546230Hodgson’s Sunday league team just beat Chelsea…. I just read an article that said nAlan Pardew is being lined up for you guys… My condolences if this is true…. If he does come in expect to jump up the table, then for no reason, simply fail to win game after game after game.. Alan will point his finger everywhere but himself.. now, even when this bad run starts, don’t expect any change to the line up or tactics… the main reason is he doesn’t have any.. if game plan A fails, revert to game plan A… and if he likes a player, no matter how shit that player is, he will be played… He has no understanding of sqaud or depth… just 11 players he likes playing the same game, and should you get injuries, any old player to plug the gap is fine… well.. it’s not but to Mr no Idea it’s a plan… I sincerely hope you don’t get this fraud of a manager… We used to Mock Newcastle fans, but now we know 110% sure that they were spot on with exactly what he is like… Pray to whatever god you believe in that this man does not get made your manager… But remember, if he does, he’ll look like a genius for a while.. a short while.. then the train wreck begins… probably one of the worst managers I have ever seen…
November 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm #1553481Impressed with what I have seen from Leicester since Puel took over. Craig Shakespeare’s greatest downfall was his faith in bang average players such as Maty James and Andy King, Albrighton while the likes of Iborra and Gray were never really given a great chance. It’s clear as daylight the gulf in quality between Iborra and both King ajd James, as well as Gray’s overall attacking flair as opposes to Albrighton.
With Silva to be registered in January, as well as Ben Arfa coming through(Very strong possibility), then they should comfortably finish in the top half. Must say I would play Dragovic over Maguire anyday of the week thoughAugust 17, 2018 at 8:25 am #1666514^this post aged really well, hey!
June 20, 2021 at 4:31 pm #1965121lol so Rodgers is getting his first summer window in full control right? Any ideas on where you guys are gonna strengthen?
June 22, 2021 at 3:03 am #1965570Pretty sure it’s just me in here these days Bingo haha.
Without doubt, we need a new striker. Vardy was certainly past his prime last season. He can still be a menace and create chaos but his finishing was dire last season. Nacho was in fine form but he does this every season, finds small pockets of form and then plays dogshit for the rest of the season. We need to find consistency in that position. I think we’re pretty set in midfield, we do need wide attacking players. Albrighton has passed it and was used off the bench mostly last season. His effort is second to none but his execution is rubbish these days. Perez can offer depth off the bench but no way should we be relying on him to start. Defence is pretty set I think. We have three quality centrebacks and 3 outstanding wing backs.
So wide attacking players and a Vardy replacement is the vitals, then just squad depth really, that has cost us two seasons in a row now.June 22, 2021 at 2:33 pm #1965773I wouldn’t be too worried about it, Daka fits the bill pretty well for you guys and I have yet to see the management of the club go off the radar when it comes to recruiting…
I really like the tradition your club is establishing, you are slowly becoming the underdogs in the Premier League…
It would not surprise me to see you guys competing again for the champions league…
You and United, I reckon Spurs and Arsenal will be off the pace next season…
Daka and another forward should propel you to that, he can play three positions and maybe a bit bigger profile to replace Vardy…
He is such a leader, that you are gonna need someone as mentally sharp as him to come in…
Fans always underestimate what leadership is and youve seen a perfect season happen for your club, so you know what it actually takes mate…
