Southampton were the only team to suffer from a major refereeing mistake over the weekend, according to our Ref Review panel.

November 23, 2015 at 3:16 pm #715611TT – Do yourself a favour and stop with these weekly ref reviews because they’re getting embarrassing. They’re just opinions like we have. How was foul on sanchez not a penalty?
He was literally holding him back and trust me sanchez would have got to the ball.
Also, arteta as useless as he is didn’t foul the player which led to the free kick for westbrom’s first goal,go watch the replay again clearly gets the ball.Arsenal should have retaken their penalty because there were 2 westbrom players ran into the box before cazorla even began his run up to the missed penalty.I mean why do you guys fail to look at these type of things.”Oh big team,Let’s find every decision and manipulate it against them”.Is that how you lot think?November 23, 2015 at 3:53 pm #715643The ref gave a free to West Brom at the penalty because Cazorla touched the ball twice which is the right decision, I think.
November 23, 2015 at 7:47 pm #715722thespecialone, we have five people give an opinion every week to make sure there’s no bias, which might be the case were, say, an Arsenal fan debating a penalty for his team.
November 23, 2015 at 8:17 pm #715735I like this new feature. (Its the only change I do like)
I am interested why some decisions are excluded an others are included?
For example:
The Arsenal penalty is in, but the west ham offside is not.(when they hit the bar, 2 yards offside) Both did not lead to a goal, and neither affected the result, both wrong decisions could have been decisive.November 24, 2015 at 12:08 am #715813Homzy – Yeah well cleary your team isn’t credible.Read my post regarding the decisions. You simply ignore ones you don’t want to take into account.Finding it a feature just for the sake of it.I’ve found mistakes in those articles every week but don’t have the time to come on and argue about them.
November 24, 2015 at 5:56 am #715828not being funny but this isn’t a ref panel that truly represents the officiating in the game it represents decisions that could have or in fact changed the game. furthermore the ref review panels in the UK are made up by former referees who look at the overall decisions made not just the ones that have key moments. what ticks me off more is teams outside the top 6 moaning about how all the big clubs getting the big decisions but fail to look at how subjective officiating benefits them. the most inconsistent form of bookings is accumulation of fouls and i will grantee that Matic, Lucas, Carrick, Coccelein and fernandiniho get booked far more easily for accumulation than Charlie Adam, Cattermol, whitehead (when he was in the prem) and Virgini. trust me players at top clubs will only be allowed 4 accumulations before they are booked. i have seen matches where Adam and Virgini have gone up to 7 fouls (with a couple that are debatable bookings) before they even receive a Yellow… every time i see Adam play there is always a thought the he is one tackle away from a Yellow or one tackle away from a sending off and yet he managed to get a way with both on many occasions… im sorry the media always draws attention to the big clubs getting the “Highlighted” Game Changing decisions instead of evaluating the facts. The reality is British style refereeing enables the clubs outside the top 6 to have 11 men on the pitch and play a more competitive game which makes it the most competitive league in Europe. i would love to see an experiment where Spanish referees manage EPL games for one week to see how their take on the game affects the less technical players. i would grantee we would have the highest number of bookings and red cards in a single match week.
November 24, 2015 at 6:56 am #715832Thespecialone should just sign off with “it’s just not fair!!” – sounds like a petulant teenager

It bears no significance because the penalty was missed. But Sanchez was rugby tackled inside the box whilst he was making an effort to get to a cross. It was a penalty everyday of the week.
November 24, 2015 at 8:26 am #715851TheSpecialOne highlights Arsenal problems in game, but NorthernBahrain sums up the bigger picture.
This is a nice topic, but what’s the point of it if it’s not fair ?
Let’s say that it was not a penalty against Sanchez who probably went down dragging Brunt with him. I could be ok with that. But if this is not a penalty how can Arteta sliding tackle can be a foul ?
There was another foul just like the Sanchez penalty but on Giroud. There was no debate about it despite the fact it was almost identical with the penalty.
So again, I ask you TeamTalk, what’s the point if it isn’t fair ? You just want to express your point of view about some incidents ? -
