When you expect little often times you don’t get disappointed. I didn’t and I wasn’t.

Match by match the yawning gap between what we need to have to prosper in the Championship and what we have is becoming obvious. Add to that the fact that Ayling will be missing for the rest of the season, Sáiz will be missing for another 5 games, Vieira is having some worrying repeated fitness issues, O’Kane is likely to miss 3 games (although I am not sure how much impact that might have) and we continue to have a Head Coach that is not fit for purpose. The sum of that is that we are meandering towards mid-table with a more than even chance that we will not get as many points as we did last season.

We still need 2 more points for me not to worry about “R”. 😊

The Team sheet match against Ipswich Town had a bench comprising Lardsogga, Grot, Sacko and Klich. Not one of them would make any difference to us on the bench or on the pitch. This is a fact that continues to escape Thomas Cluelessen. Also, we played O’Kane with Phillips in front of the back four which worked very well in previous matches. Not.

In the match, on 29 minutes Cibicki gets injured and on comes Sacko. So effectively we are down to 10 men. I would have thought that Dallas would have been a more solid choice.

On 37 minutes, O’Kane gets red carded. The Ipswich player should be had up for bringing the game into disrepute in exaggerating injury and going down like he had been shot after what seems like a gentle nudge. That does not excuse O’Kane. He is not a violent player but in raising a hand and or moving his head towards an opponent he gave the referee a decision to make. What a complete Pillock! So now we are down to 9 men although don’t forget we had that powder puff Alioski on the pitch at least until half time.

Lardsogga moved from the bench and onto the pitch on 78 minutes. Down to 8 men on the pitch and trying to scrape a point from a lost cause.

Milwall up next. At Home. 0-0 draw I reckon.

    Keep the faith. WAL
