    Well city are bound to score if you give them a chasmic breach in defence and then add to that a bollocks of a penalty! I’m not really seeing this majestic city that people are pulling their trousers down for! No f uker is prepared to stand upto them!!!

    The clown has giroud and lacazette on the bench! Clueless.

    I could be falling out of love with football for a few weeks If united fail today bad feeling today!

    Blacky – He’d scored champions league goals at Celtic. Don’t know what went wrong with him?! 😂

    McTominay should have started against Chelsea following his excellent display in the Champions League. The current awful form of both Herrera and Mkhitaryan meant that Chelsea bossed the midfield and McTominay could not have done worse. Also concerned about the flickering form of Martial, the limitations in Lukaku’s game and the loss of sharpness in front of goal from Rashford, but much of that hinges on the supply from the back. De Bruyne, Silva and Fabregas have all demonstrated the kind of passing which we are lacking.

    {Ed001’s Note – because he is lazy and not that good off the ball. Modric has to do a lot of running to make up for him. Kroos is exceedingly average, an expensive Cesc Fabregas, great if he doesn’t need to break sweat and has time and space but awful if under pressure or required to make some effort.}

    Any of the eds know if it is true we are looking at kroos and fabinho?

    {Ed002’s Note – Fabinho yes, Kroos is part of a major rebuild in Madrid and is being offered around.}

    McTominay would have been swallowed up and spat back out in that game yesterday I’m afraid and it would have been unfair on the lad to even dream of starting him.
    He needs to get his minutes in games with less importance and intensity than Chelsea away where we nearly always fail to adequately compete,even going back to Ferguson’s era.Having said all that watching Herrera this season is making my eyes bleed so badly that he probably could not have done any worse than the oafish Spaniard managed.

    Thought he played really well last Wednesday and the times he has come on as a sub. Very happy Mourinho’s giving the players chances in the first team… Good luck lad

    Is any one watching Mctominay closely because I see talent in him and Jose is giving him playing time if the chance is there. Media right now not talking about it but are fast to criticise Jose if he don’t play young players. Seems like they only go for the negative when it comes to him.

    What, you mean our tradition of promoting the odd bang average youngster to the first team squad, then very quickly discarding them?

    United’s academy is easily the best in the country to set up young footballers for their professional careers. A lot of premier league teams have a United graduate playing in them. So most of them leave and move to other clubs. This is just because they didn’t make the grade at United, but then only a tiny minority ever could, that is normal. The club should be proud that it did so well preparing so many of these young players. If you go to United’s academy, then you know you are on the right path for your career any which way. This is pleasing to see. We need more English clubs doing the same

    I think he’ll be a fantastic squad player for us. He looks strong and is comfortable on the ball.

    He’ll have his ups and downs, but people shouldn’t get carried away either way.

    tMA-It does not matter if United has the best academy in the country of producing young players,it matter how good go on to become these players.

    I actually wanted to give the poor lad a hug last night. It all looked to be a bit much for him, which is where you’d hope your senior players would help him out.
