As games coming up are against Stoke and Brighton, I decided to watch the game the other day to see what they look like. Basically I saw to mediocre teams going head to head, Stoke with a dodgy back 3 system that got exploited time and time again by a Brighton team that isn’t even built for counter attacking footie, so this might be a game to leave out Benteke and keep with our current set up and take their back three apart at speed.
Brighton were pants at set peices and corners.. This is a game where we should put Benteke and Loftus through the middle with Zaha and Townsend pushing out on the flanks to get the ball into the box… Brighton have the shortest keeper in the division and he doesn’t command his box well at all.

If we don’t beat or at least get a point out of each of them, then that will tell us where we really are… I genuinely think we should take both of those teams apart from what I sat and watched.

One down one to go. My only concern against Brighton is whether we can keep playing the same 11 as against Stoke for only one change was made on Saturday and towards the end the players were tiring with passes going astray more often than not.

Perth… not playing Benteke from the start at Stoke was the right move as the Stoke back three are shaky… But with Brighton I noticed that they have the smallest keeper in the division who really doesn’t command the box, and stoke were exposing how poor they are at set pieces.. so I am expecting Roy to play Zaha and Townsend on the flanks and RLC and Benteke through the centre.. I wouldn’t be surprised if he threw on Bakery Sako through the centre at some point too.. It would appear that Roy’s project of converting him from winger to striker is going well..
