Anyhow, good game this weekend, we should have won that by 2-3 goals, we’re yust not clinical enough, good thing mitro kept his cool, i know i wouldnt, shawcross and wolfscheid we’re trying to Get him off all of second half, he made so much trouble of himself up top, and i enjoyed every minutt of it, love the link up play he and perez has developed, you can all see that the will and skills is there, you can all see what McLaren wants, and i for one like it, this is the first time in years we actually have a gameplan, we yust need everything to click. If we can keep a hold of Those 2 on top we have 2 star strikers many years to comeWe played very good last game, just needed a goal, which we deserved to get, unfortunately our luck the last few season’s has been non-existent, like us never getting penalties. The closing down last game was much quicker, collo played well with mbemba, front four was good, need to shoot more, central midfield needs to contribute more, defensively and offensively. Pity you can’t and won’t criticise Collo when he has his shockers, which is more often than the case and blame everyone else when HE messes up.

You ALWAYS praise Collo and always blame everyone else for his mess ups. Pity you don’t criticise him when he throws a game away for us. You’re just one sided, probably from the inside trying to justify Newcastles mistake on giving him a new contract instead of spending money on the defence.

How wrong you are vodka, I have praised Collo many a time, as I have also praised the likes of Willo when he has done well, but I also criticise and chastise them when it is called for, you however never do, that’s what’s so predictable.
Cisse, injured as far as I know, and still last seasons top scorer with only half the games played compared to the other team.
I’ve never seen you praise collo before, are you going to praise him now after the Bournemouth game, he did fairly well. But overall a shocking performance by the team, not closing down, sitting back, and pure luck to come away with that result, shocking. First person I would put on the transfer list is Janmaat, can’t defend, out of position, no closing down, no passion, he dosent look bothered at all.

We can only hope Joe. I agree with you about anita, the guy can’t pass the ball at all, always gives it away, he really dosent do anything useful. Tiote on the other hand, might just need some more game time, hasn’t played much, but is improving every game so far. What’s your opinion of Janmaat?

The reason he ge s caught out is because he’s going forward creating for our forwards or, as was the majoritry of the case, being the only one driving onto the box and shooting. He has one bad game and you are on is back, pfft, but collo can have a whole season of crapness yet deserves a new contract. You honestly haven’t a clue about football have you.

neither is Collo, and in all fairness Janmaat is a wingback, look it up you might learn something, whereas Collo is JUST a Central defender, an awful one at that
Wingback is used in a 352 formation, we not playing that formation. A 352 formation would suit Janmaat much better, does that sound familiar to you, 352.

I’ve just realised with you it’s not about football, it’s all about Collo and covering for him, you want 352 to cover for Collo, you said it yourself many times in the old forum, you want the midfield to press more than they already are so that the ball doesn’t get through to Collo etc etc. It’s not about the team, it’s just about Collo for you.
You say Janmaat should be first on the list, he’s been our best player so far this season and was better than Collo yesterday too. But you’re just not interested.

Janmaat was not better than collo yesterday, not even close mate. Janmaat was the worst, followed by anita, and dummet. I would sell Janmaat, anita, gouffran, obertan, Williamson, Taylor, krul, cisse, riviere, de jong, tiote, sissoko, marveux. The squad needs a major change, players with no passion and drive must go. Why would you want to sell collo, you can’t get money for him, you would lose your second best defender in the squad, you would lose your captain and most experienced defender, he is injury free most of the time (touch wood). He is forming a good partnership with mbemba, so why on earth sell him on the cheap, it’s pointless. On the other hand, sissoko, he wants to leave, so sell him, 15mil plus, so sell him to reinvest in the rest of the squad. This is football, wake up

All captains are different, Roy Keane or a stuart pearce show different leadership on the field than a Beardsley, Gerrard or collo. Most Newcastle players have struggled the past two seasons, the team in general has not been playing to their ability. Collo has had a few good games this season where he was in contention of being man of the match.
