Tugay, a French Manager and enough French speakers in the squad to keep.Martial happy plus as he comes from just outside Paris the Eurostar connection to Paris will be a plus more likely to end up at Arsenal than anywhere else imo but I would happily take him at Chelsea.

After the season we had can we afford another fallout this time? this guy goes personal who ever questions why we are so defensive. 3 fall out in one season can’t you see the problem is not the players?

Wf, I would hope that common sense prevails snd Rudiger is restored to the team sooner rather than later. But as I’ve often said Chelsea’s problems go a lot deeper than just Antonio Conte.

But that’s not something for a Summer transfer thread on the General Forum.

I only watched the news tonight and Rudiger confirmed that he was in the dark about why he was dropped from the match day squad. Luiz was lost because of the personal feud with Conte, and as we all know not only he can play in defence but also he can play in midfield. and allegedly that is the one area that we had our biggest weakness as proven by facing the top teams. can you imagine him and Kante in the same midfield and letting Hazard and others do the damage. my suspicion was that Rudiger was dropped because of personal reasons. and it was confirmed by Rudiger said he doesn’t know why.

I have to disagree with you on there Nine. 90% of our problems are Conte related problems. when he is not antagonizing players, he is attacking the club and moaning about decisions. and many are confirming that he isn’t doing his job and looking for the club to sack. and that is the true picture that we see. how do you expect our recent trend of attacking teams only in one half? this guy had lost credibility.

Wise fan, it’s a risky business criticising your boss whether you’re a professional footballer or work in a factory.

There are only so many times that you personally can say Conte is rubbish and you want him gone and you’ve been spinning this disc since the first game of the season and you were even spinning it in Conte’s first season too! There are very few grooves left on the disc now and we all got it a long long time ago..

What makes all these posts attacking Conte sometimes half a dozen times a day every day on the Chelsea site even more pointless though is that the decision has seemingly already been made and Conte will be gone at the end of the season anyway.

Time to put a new disc on the turntable buddie but the Summer transfer thread on the General Forum is not really the place to spin it on!😊

What are your thoughts on Manuel Lanzini? Seen him a few times, he looks quite quick and tricky. Wouldn’t be surprised if he moved on this season.

mufc, he’s a good little player, has pace and can go past his man .West ham would want to keep him for sure but money does talk.

He is 25, good age to. I not seen Redmond player but a few mates speak highly of him.

Lanzini, great player but I would suggest a bit too inconsistent for a top 6 club. Best look elsewhere! 🙂

Well here is one for the Mourinho fans who were saying they couldn’t compete with the spending boys. United got more than what the Champions got last season.

Pompey fighting Reading for Irish starlet. Depends on whether he prefers passing forwards or backwards really.

Give Willian to United, he hasn’t progressed since he was at Chelsea. and will be 30 this summer. like for like replacement could Sanchez similar but a better quality player. he is lacking a coach to get the best out of him. because his current only knows how to coach fullbacks and centre-halves. so an attacking coach at the helm next season, because Conte will be sacked in the next 48 hours. and with Sanchez playing alongside Hazard and Fabregas. he will be a hell of a player.

beg to differ there, Willian has been one of Chelsea’s best players over the latter part of this season. He has certainly put in a big effort however does not appear to be on Conte’s radar. Keep Willian and flick Conte I say. Fabregas is pretty much out of gas and not getting any younger and may well not feature under a new manager. Apart from Kante the midfield needs an overhaul. Hoping that Loftus-Cheek comes back though and is given an opportunity. Only time will tell.

You boys should be hoping that RA can get his visa sorted 🙂 He won’t be spending money on a team he can’t go and watch.

Paxman, Roman hasn’t personally funded a Chelsea transfer for quite some time due to FFP. But if the Visa is ultimately declined it could have an impact on the new Stadium development though or we could of course get bought by Sheikh Muchmore.😊

You’d better hope he doesn’t do a Gaydamak and demand all his money back

1967, whilst I understand Willian’s frustrations he only lost his place for tactical reasons there will be times no matter who the Manager might be going forwards when he might want to go with less than tnree creative players behind a striker.

But like you I wouldn’t sell him to United or anyone else currently.

I actually think we need to strengthen that attacking positions cause even when Willian plays we seem to be outgunned for possession and ideas in that area despite the fact that he does a lot of good things. If Hazard stays then he will need a better class of player or more effective than Willian or Pedro to play alongside him. I cant think of anyone else at the moment in the entire squad so it will have to be an import unless a local gem comes along. Fabregas is also a weakness despite his occasional breakthrough passes. Going further there has also been no-one suitable to play alongside Kante.
