    Phwepsi,

Do you know how quick you can get from London to Paris?

On top of that you just gave us false information: Bakayoko’s last Instagram post does not suggest he was in Paris it’s just a picture of him playing for Monaco with the #football:

Amz…how fortunes change over time eh?.When Chelsea slumped to 10th in the league and the established star players weren’t pulling their weight and were the catylyst for the incumbent manager losing his job,the consensus then was ‘stuff these spoilt overpaid and pampered pri-maddonna star players bring on the kids, what have we got to lose?…our kids are the salt of the earth, they will herald the new era!’.A new manager comes in puts his arms around certain star players and steadies the ship and all that furore and civil unrest at the club the season before is all water under the bridge and everybody are all friends and pulling in the same direction again?…how memories are so short!.So you intimate that pre season is a last chance saloon for the likes of Christensen Ake Chalobah Abraham Aina Loftus-Cheek and a few more to prove there worth or else they’ll get ‘binned’ or pushed out on loan somewhere out of sight out of mind.Because we won the title we’re back to ‘as we were’ where our young prospects are two a penny and so what if a few fall by the wayside there’s plenty more where they come from?.Yep,so we need players, why waste time giving a prospect a chance when we can buy a ready made player in the transfer market money no object!.Mate,we should be encouraging young players not putting them off!

mtal – I would love some of our youth to make the break through but only 1 player has caught the eye when given the chance, you need to be realistic my friend.

RLC didn’t grab his chance and i think he hasn’t progressed enough.
    Aina was below average.
Ake did a decent job when he came in.
Chalobah was the best out of every youth prospect in my eyes. Very composed on the ball, kept it simple and eased himself in to the fold.

What needs to happen mtal is that our youth prospects need to be loaned out to Premier League teams and get them playing week in week out (instead of sitting on our bench playing 10 minutes in 10 games) otherwise they won’t improve!

Would love to see Baker, Abraham, Aina and RLC loaned to Prem teams. Keep Chalobah and Ake as they are decent back ups.

PSG and City allegedly cast their lines into the pool for Sandro?

Personally I think you only have to look at the likes of Solanke and Bamford to see that we have an extremely long conveyor belt of “potential” talent and those that are deemed unlikely to make it will be sold. And the money on these sales is increasing every season

Those that the Club feel warrant a chance are given a small window for them to make an impact. I only need to compare Chalobah and RLC to see the difference in approach between these young players and IMO, I think RLC will be loaned out next season so that someone like Baker can come in and be given an opportunity

For me, Chalobah has done enough to stay within the first team squad. Christensen is another kettle of fish as he has had a successful 2 year loan and played in the CL so I think we would expect first team football if he came back to the Bridge. Not convinced that would be immediately available so in his case I think if he chose to leave rather than bide his time then the Club may cash in on him and after rejecting 18m last year I think we could achieve closer to 25m for him – so not a bad return

My feeling with youth is that few will make it so the rest are simply a money earner and people will pay for anyone associated with Chelsea who has come through the ranks as at that level they are so successful…? KTBFFH

Disgusting attack on Tammy by Mick Quinn for choosing Swansea over Newcastle which sounded like a Chelsea decision more than anything else followed by the dogs abuse Tammy got on twitter after missing his penalty v Germany.

Hopefully the lads got broad shoulders and he will further show his potential at Swansea.

Nine, I read that Mick Quinn article too. What a complete numpty! I don’t think any loanee would choose one club over another because it was a ‘bigger club’ but more to do with how much game time they would likely get, do they suit the style of play, do they like the manager, etc? And as you say, it was probably as much Chelsea’s decision (for the above reasons) as it was Tammy’s. Mick Quinn just came across as a complete plonker in that rant.

BL, when you get Quinn off of Newcastle and Liverpool he can be reasonably sensible but in respect of anything to do with those two clubs he consistently talks totally biased nonsense.

Manolas who we’ve been linked to doesn’t want to be paid in Russian roubles and failed to turn up for his Zenith medical.

Is he about to do a Willian? 🙂

Again on here to exaggerate and poke people with sarcasm.

No one claimed we would make 5 signings at once. Me and certain posters claim/believe that the new kit deal is the reason a player has not been announced earlier.

I think we will announce, Willy Caballero and Tiemoué Bakayoko.

Sandro deal looking a lot less certain. Still not sure whether it’s a major loss or we’re dodging a bullet.

Lukaku is a done deal – the fact that Everton haven’t come out and said Lukaku is not for sale etc just proves it. Remember the whole Stones saga?

Massive loss for me. 60 million is a bargain if he has 5 quality years in him. You want the best you have to pay. I think he will stay at juve though. Cant see them lettingg him and alves go in one window.

I’ll take manolas. We were massivley intrested in him last year so conte likes him. I doubt this too though as its just speculation becuase of a missing medical

On lukaku. Im inclined to think its a done deal. With what hes been saying and everton buying 2 strikers (another one yday) and spending close to 100million now. Not including micheal keane for 30 and sigurdsen for 40. Youve got to say it looks like weve payed them

I agree with phwepsi Sandro would be a major disappointment if we lose him he was a definite Conte target and he is probably the best left wing back in the world and would make our offensive left hand side with Hazard virtually unplayable.

I still haven’t given up though and let’s just hope all the other targets come through.

I think Sandro will come to us. I’m sure he’s asked the Juve boys on their opinion of Conte. It’s reported we’re paying him a high salary and we are in the most competitive league and he has a number of his Brazilian homies plying their trade here.
