It looks like it’s going to be a mega summer window both the Manchester clubs look like spending really big, Liverpool will spend well above their norm I suspect Wenger will sign up for another 2 years now and look to retain Sanchez and spend big.
Chelsea are looking to tie Conte down to a new improved contract, will look to retain Hazard and are already sitting on a pot of circa £80m from the sales of Oscar, Cuadrado and Bamford and allegedly want 6 new players.
May 28, 2017 at 11:38 am #1487731If Coutinho leaves he can be repalced only with Alexis Sanchez!! If we take Goetze it will be a waste of money. Besides he has been at bench for almost 3 years and he rejected Lpool last year…
May 28, 2017 at 11:57 pm #1487923City about to sign Benfica keeper Ederson for £45m? If that fee is accurate it’s a world record for a goalie I think.
May 29, 2017 at 12:20 am #1487924The fee is also being reported at around £35m which would still beat the fee paid for Buffon.
May 29, 2017 at 12:41 am #1487927Until De Gea leaves for Madrid
May 29, 2017 at 7:50 am #1487946The amount of money that is being thrown about to solve footballing issues by “world class managers” is disgusting when it comes to competition throughout the league. When the spending power of 2/3/4 clubs is more than the combined amount spent through England something is seriously wrong. What happened to nurturing home-grown? It is really making me turn off to this league.
If we had one big signing this summer, rumoured to be Thomas Lemar, coupled with so astute purchases and sales I will be happy enough.
Sell Walker, Sissoko (or p/x), perhaps Janssen and Wimmer.
Buy Voetman, Lemar and Gameiro.May 29, 2017 at 9:24 am #1487969If we have to beleive in rumours then Klopp either wastes time or is in the wrong direction!! We can not speak about Ox and spend 35 mil for him…It is insane and CRAZY!! We can not comptete City and Utd at first and Chelsea plus Arsenal and there is no need!! Clichy is free and is 31 years old. If we can not buy Sessegnon, buy Robertson. If Keita costs a lot look at alternatinves. Van Dijk has been overratred and does not cost 50 mil at all. Then there is De Vrij from Lazio. besides Keita from Lazio, Immobile, Patrik Schick from Sampdoria….
May 29, 2017 at 9:28 am #1487973@thekickoff completely agree, the amount of money being spent is obscene… and all clubs are guilty of it to an extent
makes me think a transfer fee cap or some sort of policy/regulatiom to force clubs spend part of their transfer income on developing local players would be a good ideaMay 29, 2017 at 9:35 am #1487980I think everybody would agree about the obscene levels of money being spunked about, and my Spuds are certainly part of the problem so no defense there, but that is the way of football these days.
The worst part of a bad bunch for me is the amount that goes out the game, i.e. into agents pockets! I mean, Emoji-man’s agent got a reported 42 million for that deal, that really is the Mount Everest of indecency…until that record is broken off course…
May 30, 2017 at 8:45 am #1488388Rumours, rumours, rumours and at the end we will be obliged to buy players like Super mario and Markovic!!!
Klopp we can not compete with Manchester teams and there is no need to do it….May 30, 2017 at 2:03 pm #1488595Looks like City are getting the job done and done well. Young exciting prospects in Ederson and Bernardo silva all the while off loading the deadwood.
Whereas at the other end of the Mancunian way we’re being linked with 30 year old matuidi and 28 year old perisic. Sigh.
May 30, 2017 at 2:24 pm #1488615Liverpool are signing Solanke from Chelsea. Is he a possible Sturridge/Rooney/Kane level of player or more likely the level below? Anyone know? Probably be sold to West Ham for a big profit in a couple of seasons lol
May 30, 2017 at 4:08 pm #1488683Mahrez has released a statement saying he wants to leave Leicester.
May 30, 2017 at 4:11 pm #1488686Johnny Utah has released a statement saying Mahrez has released a statement saying he wants to leave Leicester.
May 30, 2017 at 4:18 pm #1488697Thomas has released a statement saying Johnny Utah has released a statement saying Mahrez has released a statement saying he wants to leave Leicester.
May 30, 2017 at 4:46 pm #1488720I wouldn’t discount the possibility of Mahrez linking up with Kante again if a deal can be agreed with Leicester.
May 30, 2017 at 5:03 pm #14887259,nine,nein released a statement without Bookies odds in it…. 🙂
Anybody buying Marhez needs his head examined in my humble opinion (which means Poncho is on the phone as we speak!), I’d be amazed if one of the Prem big-boys take a punt there, and I even included Everton in that mix.
May 31, 2017 at 8:27 am #1488854At last a good movement from Klopp. Clichy is a reliable, good and free player. He is 31 years old and he has 2 years to play at high level at least!!
If we can not take Keita then there is Paredes, young player with potential to become better. Price no more than 25 mil.
Kjaer very good player at the right age for a CB,very experienced, better than Lovren and costs about 10 mil…May 31, 2017 at 8:37 am #1488862Liverpool in for Clichy on a free?
May 31, 2017 at 11:18 am #1488976Aubameyang 61 mil pounds to PSG!! This is a deal…
Monaco asks for Mbappe more than Aubameyang. It is ridiculous… -
