lol I thought it was because Real jumped in, juve need to sell now after spending so much on Higuain
July 27, 2016 at 7:48 am #1132542the pogba deal will not be cancelled over agent fees. This is another stroy being spun by the press. The deal is done.
July 27, 2016 at 7:51 am #1132548Sean, of course it won’t it’s just part of the negotiations and in any case Juve have just spent £76m of the Pogba money already on Higuain this transfer would never have happened were they not getting the enormous fee they are for Pogba.
The only thing that could disrupt Pogba going to United is Real coming in for him and I can’t see that happening now.
But it is never totally a done deal until the signature is on the contract and the row over who pays the agents fee is what’s holding it all up now.
July 27, 2016 at 7:53 am #1132554@sean. I reckon Pogba will end up at Real Madrid. The long and drawn out rumours suggest to me that the agent is simply trying to get the biggest possible fee from them by stringing Woodward along. I don’t know why you have maintained such a strong stance that the deal (to United) is done for so long.
July 27, 2016 at 8:04 am #1132566With the sale of Morata and the likelihood the Zaza & Mandzukic will be sold off, rumours of West Ham or AC Milan, Juve will have recouped about 2/3 of what they have paid for Higuain. With Dybala continuing to develop it looks like there will be a great strike partnership for club and country.
Even if they do sell Pogba, they have bought a similar and arguably better player in Pjanic and his technical qualities are unquestionable. Described as the best free kick in the world by Juninho and thats some praise! If they are to lose Pogba I don’t think they will suffer at all.
July 27, 2016 at 8:27 am #1132608hatters, i believe this deal is done since as early as the 29th of june. If he does not sign then ill be astounded. This deal is done. Madrid dont have the money. They would not pay what valencia wanted for gomez. Of course the agent is trying to get the biggest fee. He had it signed into pogbas contract then he gets paid a shed load of money when pogba next moves.
i firmly believe its done becaue of the source its come from. Its a well known liverpool itk who never gets anything wrong. I also have heard from a mate close to utd that its a done deal ages ago. The press are drawing it out like they always do.
July 27, 2016 at 9:13 am #1132683I think Pogba to United will get done but a done deal is only a done deal only when the player has signed on the dotted line no matter what anybody might say. As for Real not having the money selling Morata would set them up nicely for Pogba if they really wanted him.
July 27, 2016 at 9:19 am #1132698My instinct is that Pogba will be a United player, and that it’s only the greedy ***k agent that’s holding things up.
July 27, 2016 at 9:25 am #1132716Zidane use this phrase when talking about Pogba “he is not yet a Madrid player.”
July 27, 2016 at 9:36 am #1132737ST-Come on mate, even Messi and CR7 would have lost the will and desire to perform,if they saw only rubbish players around them.I saw Newcastle play United last season, both were very good on the day,i watched them play Liverpool and Spurs too, both were superb.Yes it`s true, transfers have gone mad,but they are not bad players.
July 27, 2016 at 9:40 am #1132746I agree with Hatters and 999,Real Madrid are not out of Pogba
s race.The reason they didn
t pay the money for A.Gomes is because they didn`t want to,not because they did not have the money. As 999 says, selling Morata,Isco, and Kovacic, will bring in the money for Pogba. This saga is far from being over.Especially with Real Madrid facing a transfer bad soon, and do people really believe that Real will go an entire transfer window, without adding a very expensive player to their team, and the summer transfer window at that!.July 27, 2016 at 9:57 am #1132773RM could sell Toni Kroos or James Rodriguez.
Or swap one to Juve plus cash.?RM will easily be able to get Pogba if they wanted
him enough.July 27, 2016 at 9:59 am #1132776Kroos to City, then Pobga to Real
July 27, 2016 at 10:02 am #1132779Agree completely that Real are still firmly in the mix for Pogba. As I’ve said before, who would be their big superstar signing this summer if not Pogba? I think Zidane desperately wants him and the possibility of a move to Madrid is imo what’s holding the deal up.
They’re clearly trying to offload a number of fringe players which indicates a big move is on the horizon. Pogba and maybe Hazard are the only ones who fit the Galctico profile really and I don’t see Hazard getting that move after an indifferent season just gone.
I do believe however that we have a deal in place should Real not manage to free up the funds. The only thing we can compete with Real with is the money. They have CL, Zidane (who is probably Pogba’s idol), the weather, the guarantee of trophies and guarantee of CL every year. It’s naive to think that Real won’t just click their fingers and have the deal done if they decide they can afford it.
Sean, what’s your take on it. Do you think Pogba will go to Utd? Haha
July 27, 2016 at 12:26 pm #1133070Mark-What`s holding up the transfer of Abumeyang to City,do you reckon?.
