Songman of course and I didn’t say you wanted us to lose. No Liverpool fan would say that and like you if I had a choice I’d take EPL wins but what I said was winning breeds confidence and at the moment we aren’t confident.

He needs to be careful that he doesn’t start losing fans support. Maybe our second string aren’t quite as good as we all thought.

Can’t defend and can’t finish. Brilliant. Lots of success coming our way……NOT.

It’s unthinkable that Klopp could go before the season is out but one or two more poor results in the next few weeks and I would have to say that crisis could be the word we are using. I see nothing but more misery v Leicester in the next game. I’m a great believer in things happening for a reason and at the mo we have Rafa looking out of Newcastle and Jurgen struggling to get it right. A perfect storm? Now before you all line up to kick the shit out of me this is not what I want to see happening. I want the Normal One to be here for a very long time and am prepared to write this season off if it gives him the chance to put it right. But I have to agree with timetogobr, he has now wasted three windows and not improved our defence, in fact it has got worse. We all know that FSG are ruthless business people and if you think they won’t be prepared to cut Klopp loose then I’m afraid you’re the epitome of delusion. This was the only trophy we had a snowflakes hope in hell of winning. If things don’t turn our season could be finished in January.

Just a heads up re the martial art guys. He’s a sad, pathetic Salford Rag troll who loathes Liverpool and has stated so many times on the main site. He has now decided to trail his sorry carcass onto our site because he isn’t getting the attention his ego craves on the main page. Expect frequent visits and insults from this brain dead little sack of shit. Please ignore him and starve him of the one thing he caves…attention. Clearly never got it from mummy and daddy who probably tried to drown the cunt.

These defensive master classes are growing more and more informative. Hate to say I told you so but what the hell………..
I doubt Klopp will change his approach as he appears to be from the ‘School of Arsene’
dear dear both sides of the city of Liverpool look as far away from a breakthrough than ever.
    Gone by Christmas??????

Im not surprised at all by the result.

I saw the lineup before the game. You just knew that this defence will lose aerial duels in high balls into the box.

When the opposition wins headers in or near our penalty box, they gonna get to the 2nd balls like okazaki did because theres not enough defensive minded midfielders in the team. Hendo Gini do not have the awareness to mark okazaki or to anticipate the 2nd balls going to leicester players. Its just not in their make up because theyre attack minded players. We’ve conceded so many goals from 2nd balls under klopp. But you would also think that this kind of thing could br fixed in defensive training drills?

So the only way to win was for us to score more than leicester. We started with a 19 year old striker a rusty coutinho and Ox who was anonymous. Im just surprised that sturridge wasnt even on the bench. I mean hes gonna start on sunday anyway because firmino will start.

Sean, there will always be the type of fan who loses faith in a manager the second things arent going their way. FSG won’t over-react and sack Klopp now but what if we only win 2 of our next 10 games? By then it wouldn’t just be the idiots and by the way we’re playing, I can’t see a way out of this for us. We have the players and the manager to turn this around, as we did last season but this is all on the back of what let us down last season and as much as I will back the manager, he’s got to take the blame for not addressing our main problems this summer.

There is nothing worse than a missed opportunity and everything aside, thats what this season looks like it might be, already. I hope I’m wrong. I expect to see a higher level of quality and fight from our first 11 in the PL match.

Shanksy I get what you are saying and for me Rafa will go down as a legend for the CL but taking him back would be a step backwards imho.

We have now play some of the best football in the league, a couple of adjustments here and there (2 cb and perhaps a striker and Keita to come in and what a difference that’ll make). Despite all I’ve said about this being said Klopps doing and I think it is (not bringing in the right players, putting all his eggs in one basket). I’m convinced he’ll get it right in the next 2 seasons. Rafa whilst defensively sound used to frustrate us the other way and I remember sometimes not even creating clear chances (not belittling him just don’t think he’s the way forward).

I’m sure others have already posted about this before, but unless we sort out the spine of the team, we will not progress and will be always be behind the other teams.

Compare us to manu, who have de gea, bailly, matic, lukaku.

Man city, who have ederson, otamendi, de Bruyne, ageuro.

Chelsea, have courtois, Cahill, Kante, morata.

Even spurs have a better spine than us.

Compare this to us, poor goalkeeper, poor central defenders, Henderson….

Can and firmino are decent and would play even better with better players with them.

Yes, manu and city, Chelsea, have spent loads of money, but we also had money, but for whatever reason chose not to spend it.

Really frustrating, when we have mane, salah, countinho, but the rest of the team lets them down.

will be interesting to watch the Ox this season. I had always wondered if the reason he had not fulfilled his potential was down to Arsene and if another manager would see him kick on and get to that next level. I think if any manager can (for his position) it would be Klopp and its early days but what you are seeing is what we have for many seasons. His end product, goals and assists are very poor and he loses possession way to much. Also for all his running and effort he is not much help defensively either.
It is strange to see Pool these days the club seems so very similar to my own, form the manager and style of play when it works and the way you lose when it doesn’t work, the no plan B, poor transfers and managerial blinkers! even some of your fans are starting to sound like our fans!…is there a Liverpool fan tv?! 😉

A tail of two halves or was it?

In the stands at half time the games was only going to go one way in my mind & thus it was going to be a long walk home. They say creating chances & not scoring is better then not creating any at all & although i agree its bloody frustrating watching your team huff & puff with no end result. So to the positives Gomez & Robertson looked decent. Coutinho looks to be getting “back” fit. Solanke did ok his movement was decent still has allot to learn. Henderson & Ox the less said about them the better its hard to believe they are both England internationals. Klopp looked like a very dejected figure towards the end of the game so i hope he can pick himself & the players up for the next game.

redsforever, good points about 2nd balls. It happens way to often. People blame klopp which is fair enough in parts but gomez knows what to do yet he steps back when we are trying to play offisde and plays 3 men on and they score. Its pathetic defending.
we switch off from a throw in again. he must be pulling his hair out.
the players are not follwoing simple instructions.

flanno is done. Klavan is just poor and should not be starting as many games as he is. Totally klopps fault for not getting a centre back in.

i believe we will turn it around soon but i think we will lose sat.Would take a draw now
we need to get a win just to regain a bit of confidence. Im actually disgusted at some friends who want klopp out yet two years they were the ones banging on about klopp being top top class.

the man needs time and support from the fans.

stevo, Ox has everything in his locker to be a good player but a very valid point about loosing the ball. He seems to stumble over it every now and again. Ill give him time. We are not in a crisis yet. People need to relax but we need a win from somewhere quickly before we get left behind

ye true redsforever. Alos couthino was always going to come off as he is only coming back to full fitness

we are to weak in midfield. Henderson got skipped by like he wasnt there last night. No spine at all to us. The longer it went 0-0 you knew what was coming. Im gutted we are out. I cant see us winning anything else this season

Thought Coutinho was good in parts but same as Saturday he tries to take on too many shooting opportunities cutting in on his right foot and so often that he’s too predictable and gets closed down.
Woodburn when he came on was very promising without too many around him on the same wavelength. Ings was positive and very ready to get stuck in despite past injuries. Solanke was also positive and showed good awareness.
We missed Can and Firmino influence and could have done with Sturridge (thought another game would actually get him match sharp)
Hendo and Ox however were piss poor – couldnt understand why Milner or Markovic didn’t replace Ox with 10/15 to go.
