A wonderful afternoon, hammering the mighty Macclesfield 2-1 to storm into the 2nd round. I can imaging Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Liverpool absolutely quaking in their boots now. Could this be the season of a third FA Cup Final win for the mighty PFC? Er, no, maybe not. But we are in the 2nd round for the first time in 25 thousand years or something like that!

    Hi Richard,
Let’s just hope we don’t draw Chesham in the next round !

Hey Kingo, welcome back. I think that makes 3 of us on here now (ChrisMilanMan, you, me). No sign yet of PompeyPete or FFF.

So we have the also-mighty Accrington Stanley in Round 2, having avoided the even mightier Chesham or Salford or even Eastleigh. Now I’m really worried though, as in order to whip Man U in the 3rd round (remember, we have a 100% record against MU in the last 15 years). I feel a 2nd-round wobble coming on. Perhaps we could try 1-1-1-8 (8 up front, we might score). Who caress if we conceded 10 as long as we score 11 🙂

Took a while to discover anything other than premier league on the revamped site. I think we’ll be ok. When we get through the first round we normally get to the final !

Kingo game on, only there is the little problem of Accy standing in our way. That said it would be a big place marker if we can actually beat them on our home turf and definite step forward considering Awfs and Cook have failed to do this so far.

If the team need a pick me up the back passage this game is it. I am getting tired of my neighbour Ennio a Liverpool fan giong on and on about where are you and having avoided the menacing Eastleigh and dangerous Chesham i feel a game agaoinst puddle as we move closer to Wembeley could be on. Good to have you back.

    Hi Chris,
You could wind your neighbour up by saying Liverpool are playing the same football under Klopp as they were under Rogers, just a bit quicker. My lad supports Liverpool, so I have a bit of a soft spot for them, but I hate watching them making a 4 man passing move look really difficult as they shuffle the ball from Skyrtl and back to Skyrtl in the same place he had it under control in the first place !
