So the goal ‘that’goal has now been awarded to Kane, after he swore he touched the ball with the end of a hair strand.

Whether he deserves it or not, the guy is showing game after game that he has a fair bit of cristiano in him…the part that is more interested in his own performance..not the team.

Can you imagine Kane ever giving a struggling team mate the chance to take a penalty to restore confidence?…I can’t.

    Good player…questionable person.

All this shows, is that Harry Kane plays for himself.

Id be fuming if i was Eriksen, not because of the goal but what Harry Kane has gone through to take the goal off him. Won the the game. Move on

Cant think of many other players who would go through the same.

    Scumbag

It shouldn’t be any different than when the last touch involves a player from the opposition. Then it’s only counted as an own goal if the flight of the ball was judged to have been significantly altered by the defending player. If all they do is help it along, the goal is normally awarded to the attacking player.

Surely the same rules should apply here? It really doesn’t look like Kane touched the ball but it would have been a goal regardless.

Either way, it’s all a bit pathetic from Kane.

A striker contesting for golden boot disputing an unclear goal decision? Brand new scenario apparently. What if this was Ronaldo, Messi or Salah? Would there be the same reaction especially from the ‘Pool supporters for the latter. Of course not, strikers will always be selfish.

Do I think it should be Kane’s? Personally, I think it is Eriksen’s but all that matters to me is that it went in the back of the net.

Haha. Regardless of the merits of the claim, Kane has apparently decided that it’s worth revealing himself to be a bit self-obsessed if it gets him the golden boot.

I think that karma should now dictate that Salah wins it, and Sir Harry realises with hindsight that he’d have been better off letting it go.

    Either way, very funny 🙂

In a funny way it reminds me of that time John Terry joined in the celebrations for the Cup Final in his full kit after he was suspended. A touch of the school boy about it although it is a bit weird swearing on his daughters life, especially in his silly voice. He’s had the piss ripped out of him but nobody has got hurt and no harm has been done.

Be ace if he went and smashed in five angry goals at the weekend now and reignited the title race.

I’d love to see Harry smash five in the FA cup semi final. I think I might even kiss him if he does. Not a French kiss, just a peck on the cheek. And his face, I mean the cheek on his face.

Kane is a typical striker. Strikers will always try and claim a goal. The swearing on his daughter’s life bit is the only thing that has made him look a plum.

By tea time on Saturday night Ash, Pep Guardiola is going to make Kevin Keegan and Rafa Benitez look like the sanest football managers to have walked the touch line. This is a fact.

    The implosion is on.

Nah tommy. He still has to have a major meltdown and blame everyone at the club for the problems. Then he has to have a blazing row with the team doctor, the tea lady and the team bus driver (well he needs to have an entire squad of bus drivers). After that he needs to talk about going somewhere he is loved and comment on heritage and how he knocked the team he now manages out of the Champions League and point out that it’s not really a big deal. THEN he’ll be on his way to total implosion.

Would rather have my striker aiming to score every goal that he can, than my striker giving penalties to others when on a hat trick! Terrible mentality from Aubameyang and typical Arsenal.

Nothing wrong with Kane contesting for a goal. it shows his mentality unlike the kind of strikers we have. he is a winner and is prepared to go that extra mile.

Pep is taking it home. sorry United fans. next season and better luck, Kane has more chance in scoring 5 in the FA cup than today.

It’s a pity that Pochettino rested Kane today…he could have made a big difference for Spurs.
