They’re at it again: A purple patch, and Liverpool supporters are already talking about winning the Premier League title.
December 3, 2015 at 10:58 pm #721538Who is? Where have you read this? Certainly not on this site. But hey, don’t let the truth get in the way of a good troll.
December 3, 2015 at 11:07 pm #721540My dear Shanksy: pray, for the benefit of your edification, kindly proceed to read David Tindall’s piece, featured on the Team Talk home page.
December 3, 2015 at 11:31 pm #721552Name Names!!!
December 4, 2015 at 7:47 am #721565In fairness even though this is an article written by a Liverpool fan in Dave Tindall and is magnificently optimistic even he managed to preety much talk himself out of the reality of it actually happening by the end of his article.
The Liverpool posters on here are understandably cautious of talking about winning the title given what happened in 2013/14 even Nil who is probably the most optimistic Liverpoo! poster of all has shelved his original “we can win it why not” mantra that he took up immediately following the initial appointment of Klopp
But the reality is that being just 6 points off of top spot Liverpool could win it and being just 6 points off of top spot like it or not does make Liverpool genuine title contenders and Liverpool fans if they are honest with themselves are currently daring to dream but what’s wrong with that?
Isn’t daring to dream an important component of being a football fan no matter whom you support.
December 4, 2015 at 7:55 am #721567Ahh so one person is the infamous “they”. For your edification my dear chap if you had read and understood all of the article you would know that Dave Tindall effectively ruled out a title win. Why don’t you read 999’s comment? He understood the article as did everyone else who read it, apart from you of course. If you are still struggling to grasp the essence of the article feel free to come back for further clarification.
December 4, 2015 at 8:36 am #721586Shanksy – There is no point trying to educate some people. I love it how an article in the media means all Liverpool fans are saying we can win the title, when the reality is no Liverpool fans are saying this and we are all trying to play media hype down. Typical trolls.
December 4, 2015 at 8:46 am #721594Nowt wrong with daring to dream, look what happened to us 6yrs ago, that was beyond my wildest dreams. I think Klopp has done a great job, if I were a Liverpool fan I would be really optimistic about the future. The only thing that really gets my goat is the ott hype about Liverpool by the media, mainly driven by the fact that there are far too many ex Liverpool pundits. The bs that was spouted about the Stirling transfer and the hype over their title challenge 2 seasons ago are obvious example. Jim
December 4, 2015 at 11:55 am #721799Jim – We don’t control the hype. I think much of the hype two years ago about our title challenge was due to a few things, firstly we had finished 7th the season before with almost the same squad, secondly the football we were playing was breath taking, and thirdly it was the first time in a while that we had been competing on the field with the money teams of City, Chelsea and Utd.
The things written about the Sterling transfer were no different than any other young player that threw his toys because he went after the money, Berahino has had the same stuff written about him, and it was bs, most of it was delivered by Sterling himself with that interview.
December 4, 2015 at 12:30 pm #721874Paxman, I wasn’t blaming Liverpool or its fans for the hype. On a side issue Stilings agent did the damage to his reputation Not entirely Stirling himself. You got a large fee for him. We got nowt for Milner. Given a choice which transfer do you think your owners club would have chosen. Jim
December 4, 2015 at 12:32 pm #721883If they don’t win I am sure they will tell us all about it in a follow up to “They Dared to Dream”
December 4, 2015 at 3:50 pm #722381Hey Jim, I do agree Sterlings agent was the architect but he did himself no favours first with the interview, and second getting videoed inhaling nitrous oxide. As far as the media go, I would prefer to leave them to it, I don’t take to much notice of them.
December 4, 2015 at 3:51 pm #722384I wondered how long the Ginola ban was going to last for, I see it must be up, so the troll is back.
December 4, 2015 at 7:34 pm #722600Oh yes paxman. Ginolatroll has only one trick up his sleeve. Coming on to post tripe and bile about us. I love his obsession with us even if it is somewhat disturbing. Note how he never ever comments on the club he follows despite them having a great season so far.
December 5, 2015 at 10:00 am #722891Hey Paxy ban lasted about 2hrs lad, sorry pal.
Carry on
December 5, 2015 at 10:55 am #722915I thought the saying was “next year will be our year”
Up until last season too I think Liverpool were outspending Utd in transfers so it’s not as if Liverpool were keeping up with the big spenders if that makes sense. It’s only when LvG came in and turned us into clubs like City and Chelsea by throwing money around that we overtook Liverpool in the spending charts.
December 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm #723053See Shanksy joined in to. Should prob review my post history before speaking again laddie…wouldn’t want to make yourself look stupid…again. ?
December 5, 2015 at 2:21 pm #723140I thought it was Spurs for the title, this time around…
December 5, 2015 at 2:49 pm #723218tsm, you make me regret feeling sorry for Leeds. What a load of rubbish.
December 7, 2015 at 8:42 am #726326Shansky – He tried but even his own fans got sick of him and told him to do one. That must be where he gets all his hatred from, it must be hard not getting any love from his own. Probably the same at home.
