    If LVG wants to win over fans, he needs to win both the fa cup and europa league along with a top 4 finish (preferably 3rd as it would mean automatic qualification). He would have no excuse as it seems like we will spend more money as the january transfer window opens. Getting knocked out from the europa league would be even more embarrassing in my opinion.

    and what’s so bad about winning the Europa League??
    think of Mourinho at the helm of Fc Porto – first winning the Europa League (Uefa Cup) in 02/03, then winning the Champions League in 03/04.

    nothing wrong with europa league and i hope we have a go at it and try win it but there are still some tough teams like dortmund and napoli.
