Two players should be dropped as of now and that is Sanchez and Xhaka because they give away the ball too many times. It has to have consequences and in the Sanchez case its easy he doesnt want to here so he should now be dropped because of that. Yes he is a good player but its easy to see he doesnt care anymore. For once make a bold statement and say you dont perform so you are benched. We already are shit so we can play Young players instead as it wont make any difference but at least they are players who wants to fight. Show some cojones FFS.

Even myself I used to defend Xhaka a lot but he has to go, I’m sorry. He’s so pants. Supposed to be there for his passes when he attempted even those long raking passes it went wayward. Drop him and Sanchez. Play Jack but problem is who have we got in midfield. Maybe maitland Niles in midfield and put Kolasinac back at full back? Or wing back.

it’s sad to say but i was spot on about sanchez the other week.
his head is not at the club and his performances have suffered
big time.he doesn’t deserve a by just because he’s our so
called best player.he hasn’t played that well this season and
the proofs in the pudding.give the ball away some 32 times at
sot’on.utd wasn’t far off either, and who give the ball away for
    pool’s equaliser last friday,sanchez again.

i’m not saying he’s not trying because he his,but when your head
is in another place i just can’t see where he’s going to influence
the team enough.even ian wright, wright, wright has more or less
said the same thing.xhaka was awful against pool as well.arteta
used to get hammered for passing it back and sideways and xhaka
does exactly the same thing.it’s a major reason our transition
from defence to attack is too slow.hope rambo’s back because we
    missed him against pool.

i don’t know if was hearing right but when sanchez got the ball
against pool in the first half, there seemed to be some booing from
the crowd.ok,i disagree with fans doing that because it does the
player no good whatsoever.the big problam for sanchez is if his head
is somewhere else i can see more fans turning on him and that would
be awful given the player he’s been for the club.can’t see this
ending well if truth be told.

Well at last people seem to be waking up to the fact that Xhaka is truly awful and Sanchez should have been sold in the summer. We have had Arsenal have the best squad in the PL, Arsenal will win the PL this season because they are better than Man City and Sanchez will get us into the top4. The lack of knowledge really makes me laugh, no doubt we will be getting the usual apologists telling us that Wenger is a master tactician and we are playing brilliantly. Lots of journey have been selecting their teams of 2017, one had Sanchez in it no one else did and not a sign of Ozil anywhere. Sky have announced their 100 best players in Europe over the calendar year, Ozil 92nd, Sanchez 20th. So much for our supposed two best players.

Really can’t believe people having a go at sanchez. He should leave, but not because he dosen’t care he is as proffessional a player you will find, but because he’s way too good for this current team and deserves to win major trophies at another club because it will never happen under wenger.

People don’t like because he gives he ball away?I guess he should just pass sideways and backwards just like the rest of the useless team!I salute the fact that everytime he has the ball at his feet he tries to be as direct as possible and tries difficult things.

This team is the most overrated team ever, all the players.I mean having a go at sanchez out of all the people!!!!!What the hell has our 50m signing lacazette doing when we need him the most.I’ve given up trying to explain…

Tso the way Sanchez have been playing this season he fits quite well in our team because he has been as bad as everybody else.

Its one thing trying special things in the offensive area of the pitch thats fine and that part i like but when does in his own half with the defence we have its just not OK. You might think it is but I dont how many goals have let because of that. Sanchez last season did not loose the ball 32 times in a game. Just because he is our best player does not warrant him to create chances for our opponents which is what he does more now than creating chances for us. For that reason he should be benched as well as not wanting to stay.

I understand he wants to leave and i would probably do the same. But when he is not at his best he should not play its as simple as that. At the moment he is not on form and even he should have a starting place when he is not on form

muffler – Yes,he’s been losing the ball far often this season. But the point I was making is his proffessionalism shouldn’t be questioned. He is being paid hundreds of thousands of pounds a week and until he is here I trust he’s giving his best.Has he been the same player? No,his previous seasons have been better. But he’s still playing well IMO.He’s not gone on such a long goal draught. He’s scoring goals now and then, even though not as regularly. But he’s had a decent season.Even sanchez on his worst form is better than anything we have.I think people need to focus more on the fact how much players regress under wenger. He’s pathetic,he can’t bring the best out of anyone,or aleast not anymore. As a manager he’s finished. If sanchez was playing under any of our top rivals managers,he’d be contender for player of the season right now.

Anyways,All said and done sanchez is not going to sign a new contract. And the way we have handled our player’s contracts is a farce and unacceptaple. As a fan,I’m always in hope for a new manager asap and in this situation I definitely think we should sell sanchez for 35m in jan(yes he’s that good and I’m sure we can get that much for him),and get draxler to replace him. Also,I’d like to see zaha at the club. These are two signings IMO that should be a must but knowing this club they will find a way to muck it all up.

5 goals in the PL is not good for a player of Sanchez stature no matter how you slice that one its bad. Better than we got true but should we play him in the form he is in together with him wanting out no not in my mind. I would rather see players who want to prove themselves and who wants to be here play. Because with or without Sanchez we are shit at the moment. That is why i think he should no longer play. He is leaving and we might as well start our living without him now.

Regarding the contract issue and who is at fault here you get no arguments from me its clear for everyone with eyes that are not blinded by Wenger love.

Regarding Sanchez being professional or not no doubt he is training as he should but wheter he gives that extra on the pitch i have my doubts on. There is a reason for the amount of mistakes he makes now compared to seasons before. I can only guess since i dont know but not having his mind fully on Arsenal is not that far fetched. I dont blame him for that that blame lies with Wenger but is it ok to field such a player for me no and thats were we disagree. But i respect your views on it.

I think it’s vial we get draxler next month whether sanchez stays or not.He is a quality player. Not as good as sanchez but as good as a club like ours will get in the state we are in.He dosen’t even get enough games for PSG,we have to make the move now.City are signing van dijk and Liverpool have already signed naby keita?(who mark my words will be world class for them). As if we were’t behind enough of those teams already..

we are not going to attract players like Draxler with the state we are in. Regarding Palace game we will loose and regarding van dijk he just signed for pool.

As I said, alexis sanchez is a rare breed and even on his worst form he is undroppable for any team.I don’t think people appreciate what he offers?I’m not saying people don’t rate him or anything but I’m saying he’s better than people think he is.He is a cross breed between messi and ronaldo. He has the natural prowess like messi and works just as hard as ronaldo.I’d even go as far as saying alongside cazorla he’s the best passer in the final third. Not ozil,he hides most of the times and goes for the easy pass. But sanchez he goes for that pin point pass and sucessfully completes it.He is the most direct player we’ve had in a long long time.
He dosen’t have to win as many trophies to be compared to the Arsenal greats, really.

On the game,we should’ve taken our chances in the first half. But they should have taken their’s in the second half. The number of chances they created were unacceptable espescially when we play with so many defenders.Too much space, and too much time for them at times and I though palace didn’t hit first gear at any point at all.
What absolutely astounds me is how at one point we are conceding chance after chance, and there seems to be absloutely no form of leadership of passion. Not one player firing up the players. It says so much about the mentality of the team. And cech,he’s terrible.his positional sense is poor and he offers from little to nothing. Not even his expereince.

On player performances, sanchez and wilshere were brilliant.Wilshere’s pass was so good for the third goal reminded me of cesc’s through balls.I thought chambers was terrible and should nowhere be near the first team similarly like holding.Ozil had a horrible game, missed two easy chances and was too complacent. He just hasn’t have that directness in him which is so frustrating for a player of his talent.

And also,I’m tired of wenger’s predicatable subs in the last 20 mins.He took off lacazette and xhaka and got on coquelin and maitland niles. After that we just conceded chance after chance instead of being more solid defensively.Lacazette really needed a goal and he was having a good game but typical wenger has to take him off every single time.

Well that was 50 goals against in a calender year which is the worst defending in an Arsenal team for more than 30 years in the league.

Regarding Sanchez well its close to new year so maybe he is showing what he can do to increase the offers in salary.

How can anyone say to drop Sanchez from our team must be mad! Not just for today he is our biggest goal threat and we don’t have any one better, even on a poor day he is still likely to be our biggest goal threat. A win away at last I thought Chambers had a really good game the back three were solid and we conceded chances due to them being exposed due to midfield going missing especially down the right! We needed that and great to see Jack back and fit and what a ball!!! Happy days COYGS

Completely agree Stev. I still don’t get why anyone is concerned about how much money we get for Sanchez but if they really are concerned about our finances, then keeping him will be worth more than any fee we’ll get now.

Personally, I couldn’t give a toss how much we have sitting in the bank and would much rather hold on to the little wizard for as long as we can – he was unquestionably the difference last night and even when he plays poorly, he’s still usually the best player we have on the pitch. There is something very wrong in this squad at the moment and we need to hang on to every advantage we can.

Can’t work out Mustafi. He was excellent too last night and not just the goal he scored, but other times he’s so error-prone he looks like he’s never played professional football before.

Jack is getting better by the game and I’m really looking forward to Rambo coming back and seeing the two together (and Xhaka dropped hopefully).

End of the day, I’m just grateful when we get three points these days but we have Chelski coming up about 37 times next month and we’re going to have to get a LOT better. 65% to 35% possession against Palace and yet an equal number of shots – how does that work Arsene?

Well Regarding Sanchez he divides the opinion for sure and it seems only half the team celebrated his goals. He is our best player no doubt but for me and what i have seen he has not been on form until now and is it a coincendence that a transfer window is opening and he suddenly decides to appear? No not to me so you all have to excuse me for not jumping of joy for him anymore. All the sign right now point to him caring only for himself and thats probably why half the team did not celebrated and that can never be good if the team is divided like that. It also means that Wenger has lost the dressing room. He is not staying we all know that and niether is Ozil regardless of the leaked stories from his agent of his love for Arsenal thats just PR. All we are being fed is BS and frankly Im tired of it. All you saying Sanchez will get us to CL and without him we will siffer so? All it gets us is the same sh*t again so whats the point? Him staying or leaving wont make a difference in the big picture of things. Thats why he should be benched and I stand by that.

Muff what exactly do you want? You don’t care if we get in the Champions League??? Why because we don’t win it ! That applies to 95% of the teams that qualify. We are a better team with them both here Full stop and if that is only for a couple of months more then so be it! We don’t need the money and You and us all want the best arsenal team and at the moment they are both in it!

I want a change in management and how the club is rumned. If we end up fifth with no title or CL, Sanchez and Ozil leaves then just maybe they have to change. Its hard to understand but id take that hit if it makes a change happen. I for one dont think it matters if they stay the whole season or not because if they stay and news comes out that they have signed for City or Utd for next season the s**t will hit the fan anyway. We might be a better team with them unless news leaks on where their next destination is. So its gamble we dont really know how it will end up. I look at the long term thats why i dont want to see Wengers or Gazidis smug faces at the end of the season. I love the team but i think the only thing that will save us is a complete failure. For me it has actually come to that point now.

Muffler, I agree there is little point in being in the CL and Stev, you’re right, only one team will win it but every other team’s fans, bar us, will at least have no idea what will happen. We know we’ll scrape through the group stages and then go out in the first knock-out stage. I’ve never, ever thought we have a divine right to win anything but it’d be nice if occasionally we could put in a bit of a challenge in something other than the FA Cup.

The point about the CL though is that some people seem very concerned about the money we’re going to lose on Sanchez if he goes on a free – to those people, that’s why getting a CL spot must surely be a good thing.

I’m not sure even Sanchez at his best will be enough to drag us into the CL places but I know we’ll win more games with him in the side than we will without him and, call me old-fashioned, but I enjoy a game much more when we win. I also love watching the guy play and it’s not true to say yesterday was the only game he’s shown any form recently. Yes, he’s had some bad games but so has every single player in this squad – why single him out? Imagine how exhausting it must be for the poor guy to have to carry this team so often.
