Bravo should have got something on the Willian goal, he was rooted to his feet yet Willian didn’t even place in the corner

I wouldn’t say City got ‘nothing’ from the ref today Knotter.

From a Chelsea perspective there were quite a few decisions we were on the wrong end of too.

I would however say we were lucky that Luiz got away with his sneaky obstruction on Aguero, which was a big moment.

Things went our way today overall.

Just read the comments on the City page re the game today.

Lol, the City fans are mostly crying their arses off about how the referee is a cheat, Hazard Costa Luiz are all cheats, Chelsea players should have been sent off etc etc.

Seems the City fans are as incapable of accepting a loss as the players are!

I understand it was a frustrating game for them and on another day they might’ve won, but it’s always a good idea to retain a little dignity in defeat!

Sideshow Bob was lucky not to be penalised for an obstruction on Aguero.

He was also lucky not to be more seriously injured by Aguero’s red card challenge.

Aside from the above he was the best defender on the park by far.

Taylor is hard-nosed though and it usually takes 2 similar incidents for him to then blow the whistle. I remember when he ref’d our game last Sat against Sunderland.

I’d be livid if I was a City fan.

That’s not saying much though Ash. He still has his brain fart moments. I actually thought Cahill was better. Look at the Aguero one v one with Courtois again. Look how far out of position Louise is and leaves the most potent striker in the league unmarked.

Didn’t see the Aguerro challenge as was on the way to the Lane. Will watch MOTD tonight. Coming home through Stratford after the game, hopefully all the gooners and hammers will be in the London Stadium by then. Fingers crossed

foxy, I’d say it’s saying quite a lot. City put us under considerable pressure today and more often than not it was David Luiz heading away, intercepting and generally reading City’s attacks. He’s also the only defender we have who is truly comfortable on the ball.

Leicester have been a totally different kettle of fish this season in the league compared to what they’ve achieved so far in the Champions League.

    Awful!

Why would you go on our site today Ash?
Must agree though, some of our fans are beginning to sound like Chelsea fans.

It all comes down to losing Kante for us. Last season the winning formula was pretty much 90% of the time, Kante wins ball, quick release to Drinkwater facing forward, quick release to either Vardy or Mahrez -> goal. This season, Drinkwater is having to do a lot of the ball winning and so is rarely in a forwards facing position when he gets into the ball and so Vardy and Mahrez just aren’t getting the service anymore. When Mahrez got player of the year, I was one of the very few saying it should have been Kante. If we’d lost Mahrez instead of Kante I reckon we’d be there or there a outs compared to last season.

City, such a small club mentality. Resort to hurting the other team when they’ve lost. I applaud the Chelsk teammates for stepping in on their teammates behalf. Conte’s got them playing as a unit, unfortunately.

Ash, good assessment on Luiz imo he’s been quality over the last few weeks he did get away with one v Aguero in the first half but it was far from an obvious goal scoring opportunity but it should have been a ye!low card for Luiz and a free kick to City not a red card imo but I’ve seen them given.?

Aguero has nearly killed Luiz before, look at the link. Anyone remember it?
