Whether you support Liverpool or United; Zlatan deserves nothing but respect. To come to the world’s most physically demanding league at the age of 35 when you’re already well respected is a risk few footballers would ever have the courage to take – but not Zlatan. I’m so pleased that he had put any doubters in their place. At 35 Zlatan is cocking a snook at the idea football is a young man’s game. Zlatan at the age of 35 ought to be compared to where George Best, Pele, Johan Cruyff, Zidane, Maradonna, Garrincha were at the same age. True genius has many faces, especially when it comes to mental strength and ability …
Wenger and Owen said Zlatan was too old. Nice lads, the respect we had is gone. you know when a fly is trying to get out from the window, and when it finally does, thats how i put it, out the window!
Be grateful for experiencing one of the most exciting players ever. Compare him with current younger “stars” and you fall short. I admire Costa and Sanchez but … they are exceptional players, not future larger than life legends like Zlatan. Please try to deal with that fact without loosing much needed self-esteem …
And oh boy, he was on a free from PSG he cost us bloody ZERO.
December 23, 2016 at 3:05 pm #1385260I support Spuds so does that mean I don’t have to respect him then?
Anyway, the cockwomble is from Malmo…..I don’t need to say anything else….
December 23, 2016 at 3:21 pm #1385266It was only a couple of weeks ago that some Man Utd fans on here were discussing how much Zlatan was holding you back because of all the sitters he had missed.
Now Zlatan has an ‘aura of invincibility.’ lol
Flip flopDecember 23, 2016 at 3:31 pm #1385275@Banjo – You’ve to respect him. His hunger to win should inspire all the youngsters in the game including Kane and Alli.
@Utah – Some people can’t see a great player when he is staring them in the face. Zlatan has been class from day one. Any fan would have him in their own team. Klopp wanted him but when Mourinho tells you he wants you it’s pretty much a done deal. 16 goals and we are only starting to hit form, incredible return. come on wake up and smell the coffee.
Surely he’s a certainty for the PFA and Football Writers’ Player of the Year awards this season.
December 23, 2016 at 3:35 pm #1385290But he’s from Malmo….
December 23, 2016 at 3:42 pm #1385299It could be worse he could be from Liverpool
December 23, 2016 at 3:50 pm #1385326Nah… Malmo beat’s Pool in the Birth of Biggest Tossers stakes… where were those Gallagher pricks from again?
December 23, 2016 at 3:57 pm #1385344Nah.. Nothing beats Liverpool. Liverpool has always been the poorest, most deprived city in Europe… Even when it was the richest city, biggest port (which it once was, honest…!!!) it still had worse slums, and more of them, than anywhere else. Ironically the welfare state designed to lift people out of poverty has had the opposite effect as whole communities become addicted to the welfare lifestyle. With no ambition to better themselves because welfare is always there providing for their needs.
Liverpool always been the absolute worst
December 23, 2016 at 4:01 pm #1385362What neck of the woods are you from MA ?
December 23, 2016 at 4:07 pm #1385374Malmo is in a League of its own, bit like you really, they’re aren’t enough words to adequately describe the classless masses who reside there, the egotistical nonsense and superiority complex that your typical back-stabbing Malmo-mites have, the very Judas of their nature. If they cleaned it up and possibly shot most of the residents, it could possibly qualify as a Northern Town, or something suitable for a village in Surrey, but in now way in its current format, would Pool qualify as a more desperate destination…
December 23, 2016 at 4:09 pm #1385377Who the hell makes you ‘moderator’ Aguerooooo. Haha somebody is making your life unbearable
December 23, 2016 at 4:14 pm #1385383Somebody at TT.
As above. What neck of the woods are you from MA ?
December 23, 2016 at 4:17 pm #1385398Nah.. As I said nothing beats Liverpool… nobody has a sense of humour in Liverpool, everyone is miserable, nobody talks to anyone – try talking to a stranger on a bus/train, in a pub or on the street you are looked at as if you are completely mad & have lost it. All anyone is bother by is money/material things – you are judged by what your job is, what you earn, how big your house is – whether you are decent, nice person doesn’t enter into it.
The people of Malmo are fun, have a sense of humour, will talk to anyone/everyone, will like you for yourself regardless of your wealth/class, they are not miserable. Go into a pub on your own & you won’t be on your own for long – the Malmo people are warm and friendly lovely people.
December 23, 2016 at 4:25 pm #1385410Warro?.Lol.Pogbabooooooooooooooooooooooooooooom.
December 23, 2016 at 4:29 pm #1385419Haha somebody at TT having an utter meltdown when appointing you as moderator. How long does it take to demote you as ‘the finniest moderator ever’. Well, I came back from school for an extended break

You have obviously never been to Malmo…..
December 23, 2016 at 4:30 pm #1385428redblood – The cult of personality is alive and well at Old Trafford. Pogba and Zlatan for 89mill or Sterling and Stones for 100m??
December 23, 2016 at 4:43 pm #1385431I promise I’ll try to take my underpants of my head when you pull your head out of your arse.
Have you been to Malmo lately? Seems you have been there the last time Spurs won a trophy
December 23, 2016 at 4:48 pm #1385437I suppose there being a young player of the year they could also have a pensioner player of the year.
December 23, 2016 at 4:55 pm #1385443Why would I want to go back to hell on earth? Do prisoners-of-war break back into Colditz? Do chickens climb back in their eggs?
