From the outside looking in to me this is the clearest indication yet that Wegner is losing the plot totally. I am half expecting him to appear at a news conference clad in wierd black outfit finishing the interview rubbing his hands together shouting “and very soon it will be mine ALL MINE”

Hopefully for you guys it will end with him being dragged away muttering ” and I would have got away with it if it wasn’t for you pesky directors!”

What Wegner is missing and the board is not is that at the top level now you have First Team Coaches not Managers.

The board know they have to bring the structure in line with how clubs are run now and to have a DoF in place to ensure as smooth a transition as possible when a new coach replaces Wegner.

I think you only have to look at the Mancs to see how letting sentiment rule the heads has backfired twice (Busby and Ferguson moving upstairs)

The board should listen to that Kids Disney movie song and “Let (it) him go!!”

Ive been telling everyone for years what an unpleasant individual Wenger is. He is so full of his own importance, he doesn’t care about the club and he has never cared about the fans. What amazes me is that it took some so called fans such a long time to see through him. I’m with you, overtime I see his face I feel sick. Appalling character governed by his ego.

NIBlue, Losing the plot????? He lost it years ago and should have been booted out of the door back in 2010 at the latest. As I keep saying on here the longer Wenger stays the worse things will get.

Oracle: What Tony Adams says about Wenger an players is possibly true. However, Tony has proven that he is the one who could not coach his way out of a bag. His less than sparkling record speaks for itself.

stev2bath1 & ahmad1973, you say Tony Adams is a crap coach how Ould you know given the teams he has coached. What would anyone have done with those sides, Redknapp saw Pompey off there was nothing Adams could have done, besides which who was it coaching them when they were doing well, it was Tony. Then you have a team in Azerbaijan, how do you judge that, and now Granada who were doomed anyway. How would Wenger have done with these sides. Besides which it’s not relevant in this argument, he said Wenger was poor, others have said the same thing. A number of ex-players have stated George Graham taught them far more, and lets face it what’s Wenger done since the players he inherited had all left.

Gazidis: Mr. Wenger, you’re future will be decided after the Cup Final by the BofD. Wenger: Shut Up Slaphead, my future will be decided when I say under my terms, haven’t you got it yet, I run this club, I decide everything. Now go and do some filing you idiot.

If Tony wants to be taken seriously, he should prove himself. I do not want this experiment to be at Arsenal’s expense though! Instead of having a dig at Wenger as being a crap coach, he should take a job and show what he can do. Despite all of Wenger’s current failings, there was a time when he was regarded as an elite coach.

He was captain at Arsenal before Wenger arrived and he was captain through the successful years. It was Adams who organised the Arsenal defence not Wenger so he is entitled to express an opinion about Wenger’s shortcomings. It’s a shame more current players don’t the ones that have either force a transfer through or get pushed out by Wenger. van Persie, Fabregas, Nasri have all said training was much better at their new clubs after they had left. Once Wenger leaves an awful lot will come out about his shortcomings.

It’s not irrelevant if he is a crap coach as he won’t be taken seriously! Wenger has his faults but a poor coach is not one of them. The invincables are wenger made and the best team and best football we will see at arsenal in our lifetime! He has loads of faults and made mistakes but let’s not go to far!!!! I think your hate of the man blinds you

The invincible contained players who were there before Wenger arrived and learned far more about defending from Tony Adams than they ever did from Wenger. Whether Tony Adams is a great coach or poor coach is irrelevant and has no bearing on his ability to judge other Wenger is a good coach when you consider who Tony has worked with i.e. others that coached him such as Graham & Venables.

Wenger has fallen behind now but when he came to Arsenal there can be no dispute that he transformed us. He extended the careers of players like Winterburn, Adams etc. Adams was a great player but I have lost a lot of respect for him that he has to stoop so low to sell books. I want wenger out but wouldn’t go as far as Tony whose record as manager has been less than impressive

If I had Adams’ record as a coach, I would be embarrassed to judge Wenger who has achieved far more as a coach than I can dream to. Yeah I am sure Cole, Campbell, Toure, and Lauren learned a lot form big Tony.

Yet again an example that this team isn’t equipped to do what’s necessary on the football pitch.Yes,we won in the end but we can’t ignore how poor we are mentally set out, and have no instructions to do what is necessary.

Micheal oliver(someone who I actually think is a decent ref) sends off koscielny. Not a clear red but reckless however still found it a bit harsh. Our players should have run to the ref asking him not to show the red. However, what’s done is done. How the ref has not pulled out second yellows for williams and schniederlin?I’ll tell you why.Because yet again we fail to put enough pressure on refs. Our players just standing there. Our manager putting no pressure on the fourth official to get out a card.Unacceptable.You’d never see it at winning mentality/top clubs like madrid, barca or even chelsea, city in the PL.That’s what separates us from the best, that’s why wenger needs to go.

No champions league.Regardless of which players stays or goes, if we don’t change kronke and wenger we’re headed to being a mid table club.

ahmad1973, as I have previously stated would Wenger have achieved anything with the sides Adams has coached, no he wouldn’t. Would Adams have achieved anything at Arsenal, who knows but without him in the side and as captain and tactician on the pitch Wenger would have struggled as well. Adams and Parlour and Winterburn all said the same thing about Wenger many years ago. They were right then and they are right now.

Not a clear red!!!!! Of course it was, an appalling challenge that he didn’t have to make. he deserved to be sent off for the tackle and sent off again for blatant stupidity.

Pathetic excuse for a man. Be accountable for once in your life.

“I believe since January we have played in a very difficult environment for different reasons,”….. ones he has created. How on Earth can you say you have decided and you do not say anything, only make the atmosphere more toxic. Why say anything??? I am sick to my core of this man. He DOESN NOT give a toss about us. Sooner you deluded folk realise that, the better. He lives this club?? Loves his ego, simple. F’ off. Excuse for the poor title challenge next season, will be… playing Thursdays… well whos fault is that??

    Agree, Red.

Stupid challenge, and with Gabriel possibly out for cup, not a good story.
Disappointed yes, but forecast long ago we would miss top four. Would have liked to be wrong.
A better performance, still nothing special, but with 10 and preventative substitutions for next week expected.
Hulk, Ramsay got you a goal, and a good one. Welbeck, no comment. How to score a goal lessons booked for him and Iwobi.

Will be watching next week, but not confidant. However, will hope, cup final can do funny things.

    Gooner for life.

So he says we need not many… ‘one or two top quality’ no Wenger, we need at least five and that’s not even including departures. When something is staring him blank in the face and still doesn’t do it. That’s why we can’t keep Wenger at all costs. If he gets it wrong in the transfer market, he will never accept he’s wrong and keep playing them till he eventually gives up on them or the player moves on in his own accord. It happened with Gervinho, Denilson etc. We cannot keep Wenger!
