I guess after we played so well and didn’t win on Thursday, the eventual outcome was inevitable. Yesterday we didn’t play as well as we did on Thursday, and barely made a chance. Plymouth are not a good team, in fact they’re barely a football team at all, but they have half a team of giants and they’re bound to score if they lump the ball in the air into the opposition’s penalty box often enough. Perhaps we need to at least have this as an option for an emergency ?
I haven’t seen much of the lads this season, but what struck me was whether Roberts has been as ineffective all season as in these two games ? You can only get away with being that slow if you have other special talents, which he doesn’t.
Hoping next year we fill as many slots in the team as we can with our young and promising players and only recruit loan signings to fill the gaps.

You are right, we did not deserve to win in the end. The Sunday gave was OK but again we couldn’t take chances. I watched the game at Plymouth on TV and I have to say we were pathetic. I disagree with you about Plymouth, they are a tough team yes but they are also skilful and played 100% in both games. They won the league by a mile so good luck to them. We certainly need a decent keeper who commands his area, we have two good central defenders as long as they stay fit, midfield needs an additional creative player, and up front, well a top scorer of 11 goals tells its own story. Have a good summer Kingo, Chris, PP, FFF(if you are still around).
