Arsenal have reportedly reached a decision regarding the future of centre-back William Saliba, who is a target for three clubs on the continent.
Saliba joined the Gunners from Saint-Etienne in July 2019 after the two clubs agreed a fee in the region of £27million, as per Sky Sports. The 20-year-old was immediately sent back to Saint-Etienne on loan for the 2019-20 campaign to continue his development there.
Saliba was hoping to make an impact at the Emirates in the following season. However, after spending several months out of the starting eleven, he moved to OGC Nice on loan in January 2021.
He went on to make 22 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit, scoring once, as they finished ninth. The defender was then shipped out to Marseille on a temporary basis prior to the current campaign.
Saliba is now a regular in the Marseille first team. He has featured in 34 matches across all competitions and is helping OM to fight for European qualification.
According to Get French Football News, who cite fellow French source BUT, Saliba is on the radar of three European teams. Inter, Milan and Sevilla are all supposedly keeping tabs on his development.

And they could come in with bids once the transfer window reopens this summer. An Arsenal exit would see Saliba come and go without making a single senior appearance for the Gunners.
However, Mikel Arteta’s side have their own plans in mind. The report claims they are hoping to agree a new contract with Saliba. Talks will seemingly begin at the end of the season.

His current terms run until 2024, giving Arsenal a decent amount of time to agree an extension. They want him to sign a long-term deal ahead of potentially breaking into the first team.
Arteta can already rely on Ben White, Gabriel and Rob Holding at centre-half. But Saliba is impressing back in his home country and may be a welcome improvement to the squad.
Update on Eddie Nketiah future
Meanwhile, West Ham could reignite their interest in Eddie Nketiah in the summer despite the Arsenal striker being offered the olive branch by Mikel Arteta in recent weeks.
West Ham flirted with signing Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata and Benfica’s Darwin Nunez last month. However, neither deal came to fruition, and their interest in Arsenal’s Nketiah also failed to see a move made.
The 22-year-old is out of contract in the summer and at present, appears odds-on to leave.
The Hammers, Newcastle and Crystal Palace were all mentioned as potential suitors for Nketiah last month. However, when it became apparent Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang would leave, Nketiah – amid lukewarm interest at best – was retained.
However, according to GiveMeSport, West Ham are weighing up a more concrete summer approach.
