Harry Watkinson

I am the Exclusives Editor of TEAMtalk. My role centres around liaising with our transfer insiders on a daily basis to deliver reliable transfer news. I also work as TEAMtalk’s Everton correspondent, in which I source and write my own exclusive Everton stories.

It is my job to organise the day-to-day publishing of our exclusive transfer articles and help guide our insiders on which big topics to focus on. I also work closely with our social team to help promote our original content.

I first joined TEAMtalk as a freelance News Writer in 2022, before I stepped into a full-time role the following year. In 2024, I was promoted to the role of Exclusives Editor.

I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a distinction in MA Multimedia Journalism in 2022. Prior to that, I graduated in History and Politics at the University of Liverpool.

I was born in Preston and I am a proud, lifelong Everton supporter, which has run in my family for four generations.

I have written match reports for the Everton Football Club website, done work experience with BBC Radio Lancashire as a youngster and co-commentated on a Lancashire Cricket Club game. I have also featured in podcasts with Robbie Savage and Emma Jones, and interviewed former Everton player and coach David Unsworth.
