I am the Editor of TEAMtalk, organising the flow of news on a daily basis and covering all the big football stories, with a particular focus on Leeds United, Liverpool and Manchester United.
It is my job to organise the day-to-day allocation of news on the website, liaise with our transfer correspondents over what stories to chase, oversee the quality of stories going live and decide how to angle headlines in the best possible way and to ensure they are of maximum interest and are engaging for our readers.
I first joined TEAMtalk as a staff writer back in 1998, before being promoted to the role of sub-editor in 2000, deputy editor in 2006 and finally the editor in 2013.
I graduated from the University of Teesside with a Degree in Journalism, one of the first NCTJ-accredited courses in the country.
I was born and raised in Leeds and am a lifelong, and third-generation, Leeds United supporter.
I went to my first game way back in 1985 – a 2-0 home defeat to Oldham – and have since covered countless matches and football stories throughout my long career.
Seen as a respected voice on Leeds United, I have appeared as a guest on talkSPORT, Premier League Productions, Xirius Xfm and numerous podcasts and YouTube shows to discuss the club.
