Mark Holmes

I am Head of Publishing for Planet Sport Group, overseeing the editorial teams and output across our network of sports websites.

I started my journalism career in 2006 as a journalist for www.teamtalk.com, where I spent 10 years and progressed to the role of Features Editor.

I became Editor of PlanetFootball.com in 2016 before moving into senior roles within the Planet Sport Group as Head of Branded Content, Head of Creative Content and now Head of Publishing.

I was born and raised just outside Stoke-on-Trent as a lifelong Stoke City supporter and graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a Degree in Journalism.
