Real Madrid ‘plan summer clear-out’ with Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham on alert

Eden Hazard, Isco of Real Madrid

Premier League clubs Chelsea, Arsenal and West Ham have all been put on alert amid claims Real Madrid are planning a six-man clear-out this summer.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side have plenty of stars to offload as they look to reduce their wage bill. Selling a few players would also give Los Blancos additional funds for new arrivals. They are reportedly hoping to land both Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.

The Daily Star, who cite Spanish outlet AS, provide the pivotal update. They claim Belgium winger Eden Hazard could be one of the first to leave.

He has been unable to replicate the form that saw him become arguably Chelsea’s best player for several seasons. The attacker’s record while in Spain stands at just six goals in 65 matches.

His contract runs until 2024, but Real want to end the partnership as soon as possible. Chelsea are aiming to re-sign Hazard and have now been given the green light to do so.

The 31-year-old is not the only player who may swap Real for a Premier League team this summer – far from it.

Arsenal are looking to bolster their forward ranks with the capture of Serbia international Luka Jovic. Recent reports suggest the 24-year-old is already ‘packing his bags’.

Real Madrid plan to sell Arsenal target

The Daily Star back up those claims, stating Jovic is on the list of players set to be sold.

Jovic has only found the net once in 17 matches so far this campaign. However, he managed 27 strikes for Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018-19, and Arsenal will be hoping he can rediscover that form if he moves to the Emirates.

Isco may follow Hazard and Jovic out of the exit door. His contract runs out this summer and there will not be a renewal.

Luka Jovic will join either Arsenal or Everton, reports say, as Real Madrid exit is likely.

The playmaker has been at Real since July 2013 but is now preparing for life at a new club.

According to reports in February, West Ham are in the mix to complete an impressive free transfer.

Such a signing would have been off the table a few years ago, but the Hammers’ recent resurgence under David Moyes could help them attract Isco.

West Ham face competition for Los Blancos star

The only stumbling block for West Ham is interest from elsewhere. Milan, Inter and Borussia Dortmund all have similar hopes of landing the Spaniard.

Finishing off the list are Real players Marcelo, Mariano Diaz and Gareth Bale.

Wales international Bale showed just what Real are missing out on with two sublime goals against Austria in midweek.
