Everton willing to let star leave amid reported interest from Serie A side

Everton midfielder Allan is reportedly of interest to Lazio, as former boss Maurizio Sarri is keen on reuniting with the Brazilian.
Allan had a decent first season with Everton in 2020/21. While he struggled with injuries, he played more than half of the Toffees’ league games, helping them to a 10th place finish.
What’s more, the Brazilian has missed just two league games this season. Furthermore, he has picked up two assists in the Premier League this term.
From the outside, Allan looks an important member of Everton’s squad. However, he is reportedly going to be allowed to leave the club in January.
That is according to Il Mattino, via Sport Witness, who claim Everton are willing to let him go on a six-month loan.
That report states that Allan’s former Napoli boss, Sarri, wants to reunite with him. What’s more, Sarri has reportedly ‘spoken with Allan’ in order to convince him to join Lazio.
The midfielder has made more appearances under Sarri than he has under any other manager. Indeed, he may well want to reconnect with his former boss, after their successful period together an Napoli, when they twice finished second in Serie A.
The prospect of playing with Lazio may be more attractive for Allan than staying with Everton. The Rome-based side are eighth in Serie A, and could well finish the season with European football.

Everton midfielder Allan wanted by Sarri at Lazio
Maurizio Sarri is keen on linking up with his former Napoli midfielder Allan at Lazio, as Everton will apparently allow him to leave on a six-month loan.
As for Everton, they have a number of options in the centre of midfield.
Indeed, the depth in the position may be a reason for Rafa Benitez allowing Allan to leave for a period.
Allan may join Digne in leaving Everton
Also ongoing at Everton, Lucas Digne looks as if he may be heading for the exit door.
The Frenchman had a reported spat with Benitez in 2021, and has not played a minute for the Toffees since.
Aston Villa were reported to be keen on landing Digne. What’s more, it seems as it that move is close to being completed.
Everton and Villa are reported to have agreed terms for Digne. The fee looks to be in the region of £25million.
