TEAMtalk understands that Everton are still hoping to move Andre Gomes out of the club this month, with Sean Dyche not keen on the former Barcelona man.

The Toffees manager does not see a future for the Portuguese star at Goodison Park and has already green-lighted his departure as he continues to rebuild his squad.

Gomes currently earns an eye-watering £120,000 per week with Everton, so it is no surprise they are looking to get him off the books.

He could follow Demarai Gray out the door, with the winger close to finalising a move to Saudi club Al Ettifaq.

Gomes spent last season on loan with French club Lille, and they actually failed with a late bid to take him back.

Intermediaries are now working hard to find a solution for the 30-year-old. Gomes has just over 12 months left on his current deal.

Everton would ideally like a permanent deal but they would sanction a possible loan.

TEAMtalk has been told that there is interest in Saudi Arabia, but clubs in Greece, Russia and Qatar are also holding talks which has given Everton real hope that a move will be finalised for the Portuguese international.
