Oblak started his career with Olimpija Ljubljana, in Slovenia’s capital city. After a year there, he moved to Benfica, and spent the next three seasons in Portugal.
He was sent on loan to Beira-Mar, Olhanense, Uniao de Leiria and Rio Ave, before securing a big money move to Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2014.
Since his move to Spain, Oblak has won the Europa League, and was runner-up in the Champions League in 2015-16.
Internationally, Oblak took over the no.1 spot from Samir Handanovic, after he retired in 2015, but has only made 14 appearances for the national side.
