Chelsea floor Leeds plan for forgotten star as Crysencio Summerville verdict is reached

Leeds United look unlikely to make another move for Chelsea star Kenedy on transfer deadline day after their initial enquiry over the weekend was rejected.
The Whites have struggled to get business done this month, in particular failing to land 21-year-old Brenden Aaronson from Red Bull Salzburg. Indeed, our exclusive reveals that Leeds are hopeful of getting the deal done – but not until the summer.
Since then, Leeds have been looking to convince Liverpool to let Takumi Minamino leave on loan. Their interest in him comes off the back of Liverpool’s signing of Luis Diaz, together with the potential exit of Crysencio Summerville.
However, Liverpool have spurned the advances from Leeds, with the Reds only willing to consider a straight cash sale only.
As such, Marcelo Bielsa’s side reportedly turned their attentions towards Chelsea and Kenedy.
The 25-year-old – capable of playing all down the left side – has recently been recalled by Chelsea following a loan with Flamengo.
However, the Blues are seemingly willing to move him on once again and are open to the idea of another loan.
That said, the Daily Telegraph’s Mike McGrath claims Leeds’ approach for Kenedy has fallen on deaf ears at Chelsea.
Chelsea say no to Kenedy approach
However, with Chelsea saying no and with no other targets in mind, we understand Leeds will now resist all offers for Summerville.

Raphinha contract talks continue with Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern interested
Raphinha contract talks continue as Leeds United fear Chelsea, Liverpool and Bayern will try to sign the winger
Holland Under-21 winger Summerville is looking to leave on loan to further his game time. As such he has held advanced talks with Hamburg over a move to the 2.Bundesliga side.
However, with Leeds failing to land a replacement, it appears unlikely that Summerville’s exit will be ratified.
Indeed, Leeds are reported to have informed Hamburg that any exit for Summerville is off the cards, and the winger will see out the season at Elland Road.
Chelsea keen on Raphinha deal
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s apparent interest in Raphinha is gathering pace
The Brazilian was the subject of a failed £50m offer from West Ham this weekend. And now the deadline day transfer gossip claims Chelsea are preparing an offer of their own.
Leeds though remain determined in their wish to keep Raphinha until the summer at least.
Indeed, they are looking to secure the winger down to a new deal. That will make him the Yorkshire side’s best paid player.
Apparently though that will not prevent Chelsea launching a summer bid, with the player now Thomas Tuchel’s No 1 target.
They claim Tuchel sees Raphinha as the perfect addition to his side. Furthermore, the offer of Champions League football could help secure the move.
In addition, the Blues will look to offload Callum Hudson-Odoi, Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech to fund his signing.
