FA Cup quarter final draw: Liverpool, Chelsea handed Championship ties, Man City all-Prem clash

Liverpool and Chelsea drew Championship opponents, while Man City were handed the toughest tie on paper when rewarded with a trip to Southampton in the FA Cup quarter final draw.
At the time of the draw, six teams including five from the Premier League had advanced to the quarter final stage. Everton host fifth tier Boreham Wood tonight, while Nottingham Forest’s clash with Huddersfield to wrap up the fifth round will take place on Monday March 7.
The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham had already bowed out of the competition. Nevertheless, the field still contained arguably the three strongest sides in England with Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all present.
Liverpool are aiming to complete a historic quadruple comprising the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League. No team has ever won all four trophies in the same season before.
Jurgen Klopp will be cinfident of at least reaching the semi-finals after earning an away trip to the winner of Nottingham Forest versus Huddersfield Town.
Chelsea too will face Championship opposition when squaring off with Tottenham-conquerors Middlesbrough.
Man City, meanwhile, face a tricky looking trip to the south coast to face Southampton.
