Liverpool, Man Utd on alert as Bayern Munich ace issues eye-catching Premier League vow

Jamal Musiala has got the attention of Liverpool and Manchester United by speaking about a potential Bayern Munich exit and whether he could move to the Premier League.
Musiala spent most of his childhood in the Chelsea academy, after moving from Germany to England as a youngster. He went back to his country of birth in July 2019, by joining Bayern’s youth setup.
The versatile midfielder, who can also operate as a left winger, got Bayern coaches excited with his excellent close control, skilful dribbling and keen eye for goal.
This saw him gain promotion to the club’s senior team, and he made his Bundesliga debut against Freiburg in June 2020. Musiala became Bayern’s youngest ever player in the competition, as he was aged just 17 years and 115 days.
Musiala represented both England and Germany at youth level, but ultimately chose to represent the latter. He has since won 15 caps for the German national team.
The 19-year-old has reached 20 goals for Bayern in 84 matches. And he has been in great form at the start of the current campaign.
Musiala has found the net five times, as well as registering two assists, in six outings.
Reports have put Premier League giants Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City on the attacker’s trail.
They would all jump at the chance to bring him back to England, should Bayern make him available for transfer.
Jamal Musiala makes claim about future
Musiala has now made an exciting admission about his future. While he has pledged his immediate future to Bayern, he has also put the interested Prem clubs on alert by hinting at a possible return to England.
“Playing [my] whole career at FC Bayern? Many factors come together,” the wonderkid said (via Fabrizio Romano). “I’m very happy at Bayern. You never know what will happen in six to seven years.
“Premier League? Really strong league, big stars go there. But… no idea, now I’m at Bayern. [It’s a] super top club.”
Musiala has made sure to keep Bayern officials, and the club’s fans, on side by stating he wants to remain at the Allianz Arena for now.
However, he has also suggested he could link up with a Prem club in the future by claiming ‘big stars’ move to that league. Musiala is certainly on the right path to becoming a ‘big star’.
Two advantages to Musiala capture
It would be a clever transfer for Liverpool, Man Utd or City to complete. After all, Musiala is already fluent in English, which makes him more attractive than other potential Bundesliga signings.
Plus, he has already lived in the UK, which means it shouldn’t take him as long to adjust as other new signings.
Musiala is facing a similar transfer decision to Jude Bellingham. The Borussia Dortmund star may have to choose between Liverpool and Man Utd next summer.
Following Bellingham’s goal in the Champions League against Copenhagen on Tuesday night, former midfielder Owen Hargreaves was asked about the Englishman.
He suggested Bellingham could join Man Utd over Liverpool to help the Red Devils get back to their former glory.
“He could turn around a club like Manchester United,” Hargreaves said on BT Sport (via HITC). “Get them back to the top.
“He could carry that with his mentality. Perfect midfielder. Can play for any club. Everyone will want him – Chelsea, Liverpool, United.”
Musiala and Bellingham used to be England youth team-mates, before the Bayern starlet went on to choose Germany.
It would be great to see them become team-mates in the Prem, potentially at Liverpool, Man Utd or City. They are currently opponents in the Der Klassiker, Germany’s biggest club rivalry.
