Liverpool, Tottenham on alert as Juventus look to sell Brazilian wonderkid high on Klopp, Conte wanted lists

Kaio Jorge Juventus

Juventus are reportedly looking a sell a Brazilian wonderkid who was high on the list of targets for both Liverpool and Tottenham back in January.

Kaio Jorge moved to the Turin giants in the summer of 2021 after Juve beat the likes of Liverpool and Spurs to the youngster’s signature in what was described as a real coup at the time.

However, the 20-year-old forward has made no real impact since arriving from Santos. Indeed, he’s made only 11 substitute appearances which all came last season.

Jorge also suffered a long-term injury in February which has contributed to his lack of game time.

The forward was likened to Brazilian great Neymar during his time at Santos due to his style of play.

However, it’s not really worked out for him in Italy. And CalcioMercato claims the player could return to Brazil, unless another European club comes in for him.

Whether or not Liverpool and Tottenham decide to renew their interest remains to be seen, given Jorge‘s struggles in Serie A.

However, the hype around the player prior to his Italian nightmare suggests there could be interest.

Another Liverpool target drops hint over future

Meanwhile, another Liverpool attacking target has delivered a big hint on whether a move to Anfield is in his future.

Borussia Dortmund’s 17-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko has grasped his chance after starting each of Dortmund’s last five Bundesliga matches.

He scored in the 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich on October 8, though went one better on Saturday.

Moukoko scored a spectacular brace in the 3-0 victory over Bochum. In doing so, the Cameroon-born Germany youth international became the youngest ever player to score 10 Bundesliga goals (17 years and 350 days).

Reports last month claimed Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was blown away by the rising superstar. What’s more, the signs were beginning to point towards a move to Merseyside sooner rather than later.

And now, via Fabrizio Romano, Moukoko has delivered a telling update on his future. And that unfortunately doesn’t make great reading for the Reds.

“I’ve been here at Borussia Dortmund for seven years, I feel at home here,” said Moukoko.

“I know this club very well and the manager [Edin] Terzic trusts me.”

While obviously not conclusive, the comments do suggest he may in fact be open to extending his stay in black and yellow.
