Liverpool are keeping a close eye on a quartet of Galatasaray stars with their Jude Bellingham prospects fading, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is in talks over a move to a European heavyweight, while Saturday’s Transfer Gossip claims Southampton are looking at two other replacements for Ralph Hasenhuttl.

GALATASARAY QUARTET LINKED WITH MOVES TO LIVERPOOL

Liverpool are being linked with a number of Galatasaray players with scouts making checks on their four of their stars, according to a report.

The Reds signed four new players over the summer, with Darwin Nunez the high-profile arrival in a deal that could reach £85m.

However, Liverpool have also showed themselves as savvy investors too with Calvin Ramsay and Fabio Carvalho both arriving with their future in mind.

Indeed, the Reds do not have the deep financial pockets of many of their rivals. And their success has been built on some shrewd additions over the years.

Now, according to The Sun, they are keeping their eye on four Galatasaray stars having watched their recent 2-1 Super Lig win over Konyaspor.

The four players the subject of their attention are Denmark centre-back Victor Nelsson, France U20 international Sacha Boey and Turkey international wingers Kerem Akturkoglu and Yunus Akgun.

And all four players have been key players for Gala this season, with the club currently level on points at the top with Basaksehir.

Nelsson, previously of FC Copenhagen, has won seven caps for Denmark and is a defender of a growing reputation.

Boey has impressed since arriving from Rennes over the summer and is currently contracted to 2025.

Akturkoglu, meanwhile, has been capped 13 times by Turkey, with his deal running to 2026. And Akgun has also recently made his international debut, with his deal expiring in 2022.

Jude Bellingham hopes fading for Liverpool

Liverpool, meanwhile, have been told they have no chance of signing Jude Bellingham next year.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder is Jurgen Klopp’s top target heading into 2023 as he looks to strengthen his midfield.

However, he is likely to come with a fee of upwards £100m – with one former Liverpool star urging his team to go all out to sign him.

Bellingham, though, has a plethora of admirers, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City also keen.

And any one of that three could all likely gazump the Reds when it comes to signing Bellingham.

As such Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony has been quick to write off Liverpool’s prospects of signing Bellingham.

“Do people seriously think Liverpool are signing Jude Bellingham? Get a grip! With Man City, Chelsea and the wealth out there, Real Madrid, you think Bellingham is going to Liverpool?” he said on the Hard Truth podcast.

Real Madrid are also in the running to sign Bellingham too. And the Daily Telegraph reports they are stepping up their chase to land him by instructing him to sign for them next summer with the chance of a move there unlikely to come round again.

PSG TALKS FOR AUBAMEYANG DEAL

Reports in France claim Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be on the move again in summer 2023 with PSG in talks over a potential deal.

The former Arsenal striker returned to London with Chelsea on transfer deadline day after a brief spell at Barcelona.

And the experienced striker has shown he has lost none of his touch in front of goal with two goals in four Chelsea appearances.

However, he only signed a two-year deal at Stamford Bridge and the club will be vulnerable to his departure next summer.

As such, Foot Mercato claims he has already held talks over a summer 2023 move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The Ligue 1 giants are in the market for a new attacker with Lionel Messi likely to return to Barcelona as a free agent.

And it seems Aubameyang fits the bill given his formidable record in front of goal.

Aubameyang was born 190km south-west of Paris and a move there would be a nice way to finish his career.

He’s scored goals wherever he has been with 303 career goals to his name from 589 appearances.

And while Auba has done well at Chelsea, he is unlikely to lead Graham Potter’s attack into the 2023/24 season.

Chelsea are looking at Rafael Leao to lead their attack with Aubameyang himself naming the AC Milan star’s best qualities.

TWO NEW MANAGERS IN FRAME FOR SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton are reportedly considering two other managers to replace the under-pressure Ralph Hasenhuttl.

The Austrian was seemingly close to the sack over the summer but was allowed a stay of execution. However, Saints have made a less-than-inspired start to the new season and currently find themselves 16th.

As such, widespread reports claim he is now on the brink of losing his job.

Southampton were linked with Leeds boss Jesse Marsch and Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper on Friday.

Christopher Vivell and Domenico Tedesco

However, Cooper ended up signing a new deal with Forest, while Marsch is very content at Leeds.

Now, according to the Daily Mail, Saints are considering the appointment of two other men.

They are former RB Leipzig manager Domenico Tedesco and Manchester City assistant boss Enzo Maresca.

Tedesco has been out of work since his firing at Leipzig last month. He’s previously coached Spartak Moscow, Schalke and Erzgebirge Aue.

Maresca, meanwhile, is currently working as No 2 to Pep Guardiola, where he is highly-thought of at the Etihad.

But the chance to make his own name would reportedly tempt him with Southampton considering an approach.
