Dusan Vlahovic latest: Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal on alert as agent gives update on potential deal

Dusan Vlahovic, Strahinja Pavlovic, Serbia, December 2022

The agent of Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal target Dusan Vlahovic has given an update on the chances of his client leaving Juventus in the near future.

The Serbia forward only joined the Turin giants in an €80million deal from Fiorentina in January 2022, having snubbed the opportunity to join the Gunners.

However, Arsenal have maintained their interest, especially in the wake of Gabriel Jesus being ruled out for a few months.

But, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport, United and Chelsea are both weighing up moves for the 22-year-old, although a January move will be difficult to complete.

Despite that prognosis, Vlahovic’s agent ‘doesn’t rule anything out’ for the prolific marksman.

Indeed, the report adds that all options are open for the player, who has scored seven times in 15 games in all competitions for Juve this season.

However, Vlahovic has been hampered by a groin injury over the last two months and only featured in two of Serbia’s three group games at the World Cup in Qatar, scoring in a clash with Switzerland.

For their part, Juve are not keen on selling. But if an offer exceeding €90m (£79m) comes in they may be tempted to do business, given the financial struggles in Italian football.

A recent report did, however, state that an offer of around £69m could be enough to land the player.

Juve hotshot should be a Premier League hit

Vlahovic certainly has the style of play to be a success in English football and was previously targeted by Tottenham when Harry Kane looked like he would leave.

However, it now appears that United, Arsenal and Chelsea are in a three-way tussle for his signature.

One big question mark remains though, and that is whether or not all three would be willing to stump up that much money for a player who has only been at one of the top clubs in Italy for less than a year.

The trio are in the market for a new No.9, although United’s need is perhaps greater given they allowed Cristiano Ronaldo to leave recently.

Arsenal should also have Jesus to call in again in late February or early March, while Chelsea already have central options available in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Kai Havertz.
