Manchester United are readying an massive offer for Erik ten Hag’s top January target, while a Real Madrid star soon following, Arsenal want to sign a talented Brazilian teenager, while Wednesday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Napoli are surprisingly set to pounce for a Leeds-linked winger.

DENZEL DUMFRIES IS TOP MAN UTD TARGET IN JANUARY

Manchester United are reportedly ready to launch an enormous offer to sign Denzel Dumfries in January.

The Netherlands star enjoyed an excellent World Cup with his country, though did give away a soft penalty in the quarter-final exit to Argentina.

However, his prowess at the other end only served to underline why demand for the player is so high.

Indeed, the right wing-back finds himself strongly linked with the likes of Tottenham and Chelsea, both of whom are huge admirers. Reports in Spain on Wednesday also suggest that Barcelona are ready to join the race for his signing.

In an ideal world, Inter Milan would not want to sell, but they know the vast riches from the Premier League could convince them otherwise.

And now, according to Calciomercato, Manchester United are ready to go all in with a huge offer for the star. The move is being driven by Erik ten Hag, who seemingly believes Dumfries will be a dream addition to his backline.

And while Diogo Dalot has been performing well, he feels the Dutchman would be a substantial upgrade.

Inter are reportedly starting the bidding at £43m (€50m) for Dumfries. However, the report claims United are ready to launch an irresistible opening gambit of £51.6m (€60m) to get his signing locked down.

Claims that United are ready to make their move are also backed up by Italy’s RadioRadio.

Ten Hag wants Karim Benzema to follow Denzel Dumfries signing

Ten Hag will not stop with the capture of Dumfries, either, with reports linking them to Karim Benzema growing louder.

The Red Devils are of course exploring the market to sign would-be replacements for Cristiano Ronaldo.

A number of options are reportedly under consideration but now reports in Spain suggest their chances of landing Benzema are gathering pace.

The veteran striker – the reigning Ballon d’Or winner – falls out of contract at Real Madrid in summer 2023. Talks over an extension are yet to see an agreement reached – and that is where United seemingly come in.

They are reportedly preparing an enormous salary package to tempt the player to Old Trafford. And Ten Hag reportedly thinks that, even though he turns 35 this week, Benzema would be the ideal addition to his forward line.

As such, they are seemingly readying an approach to lure him to Old Trafford.

It’s not clear whether they want him from the summer on a pre-contract, or in January by offering Real a fee.
