Manchester United are making plans for two more exciting signings in addition to Wout Weghorst, Leeds United are gearing up for an incredible triple transfer raid, while Wednesday’s Euro Paper Talk claims a top side are already making plans to poach Chelsea new boy Joao Felix.

DENZEL DUMFRIES TO FOLLOW WEGHORST TO MAN UTD

Erik ten Hag is planning the next phase of his rebuild and is reportedly lining up two more signings for Manchester United this month.

The Red Devils boss was allowed to spend in excess of £200m over the summer as six new players came in. And while funds are a little tighter in the January window, a deal to bring Wout Weghorst on loan is close to being finalised.

However, the 6ft 6in striker may not be the only new arrival at Old Trafford this month. And reports claim the club are working on two more deals before the month is out.

Per reports, Ten Hag remains keen to bolster his right-back options. While the club’s priority is to tie Diogo Dalot down to a new deal, the club are ready to move on Aaron Wan Bissaka. Indeed, while the former Crystal Palace man has been involved of late, they are reportedly willing to let him leave amid claims Wolves leading the hunt.

As a result, il Gazzetta dello Sport claims Ten Hag will then have the funds to pursue a deal for Denzel Dumfries.

The Inter wing-back is one of the best in the business and the Nerazzurri are in no hurry to sell. However, il Gazzetta claims they will cash in should any side meet their £53.1m (€60m) valuation.

United, though, reckon a deal could be done for less than that and will try tempt them with an offer below their asking price.

The article suggests a move may have to stay on hold until the summer, however.

Ten Hag also wants to sign Jordan Pickford for Man Utd

As well as bringing in a new right-back, Ten Hag has two other positions he’s keen to strengthen at Old Trafford.

And while Weghorst’s signing is only on a temporary basis, moves for a new big-name striker will be made this summer. To that end, Ten Hag reportedly has three names on his wanted list.

His other urgent priority is on signing a new goalkeeper. Talk is growing that David De Gea is to sign an extension but on vastly reduced wages.

However, The Sun has another take and claims Ten Hag actually wants Jordan Pickford as his new No 1.

The England keeper’s deal at Everton is due to expire in summer 2024 and the prospects of him extending it look remote.

And Ten Hag reportedly wants to tempt him to Old Trafford by offering to double his current £100,000 a week wages.

That would take Pickford to the top of United’s new pay scale – and also place question marks over De Gea’s future.

Reports claim Ten Hag would like Pickford in this month, though accepts a summer move is more likely.
