Harry Kane to Man Utd hangs in the balance with huge Tottenham decision key to strike duo’s future

A report claims superstar striker Harry Kane will consider joining Manchester United if he does not like the next Tottenham manager.
Spurs are currently in limbo after sacking Antonio Conte on March 26. The Italian tactician aimed barbs at both his players and the board after they were held to a 3-3 draw by Southampton. That was the final straw, with the former Chelsea chief leaving after nearly 17 months in charge.
Director of football Fabio Paratici has also had to step back from his role after landing a worldwide football ban.
Cristian Stellini is the man charged with the task of trying to hold things together under testing circumstances.
The north Londoners will be looking for a new manager in the summer.
Many names have been put forward as possibilities. Former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and ex-Bayern Munch manager Julian Nagelsmann have been mentioned in connection with the post.
Brendan Rodgers has also been suggested as someone to replace Conte. What is clear is that Daniel Levy needs to get the next appointment right.
They are still challenging for the top four this term but rivals Newcastle and Manchester United are in better form.
Kane’s form has been as good as ever in 2022-2023. That is despite a great deal of negativity surrounding the club and the fans being treated to less-than-inspiring football.

The England captain has scored 22 Premier League goals and 24 in all competitions.
They have always managed to keep hold of the record-breaking hitman despite interest from other clubs. However, that could all change in the summer
Kane to Man Utd rumours gather pace
Kane was linked with Manchester City a few years ago and went as far as revealing he wanted to move to the Etihad Stadium.
That transfer was blocked by Levy and he has continued to find the net with regularity for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium outfit.
But it is now the red half of Manchester who are keen to test the water, according to reports.
It has recently been suggested that Kane is open to the possibility of joining United. They have also been linked with a move for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
And, according to journalist Dean Jones, which striker they target depends on the next man to grace the Spurs dugout.
“I think it really depends on the circumstances from which both of their careers open out from here,” he told GIVEMESPORT.
“Harry Kane’s got a situation facing him now over who the new Tottenham manager will be; if that is not to his liking, then I think there’s every chance that Harry Kane is open to joining Man Utd.”
Man Utd face Everton in Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off. And they could be six points clear of Spurs by the time the Lilywhites host Brighton.
