Man Utd shown route to snare of frustrated Barcelona star they’re ‘especially’ keen on

Manchester United could snare Ansu Fati easily if they offered for him, as he’s one of a number of players that could have ‘forced exits’ from Barcelona.

United are seemingly on the trail of a few attacking talents ahead of the summer window. Indeed, Erik ten Hag will want to continue to improve in order to win more trophies.

He won the League Cup first try, and could still win the Europa League and FA Cup, along with a very slim chance at the Premier League title.

That’s all in just his first season, and mostly without a world-class striker. As such, the likes of Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen are in United’s thoughts.

Along with that pair is Barcelona forward Fati. Ten Hag is reportedly keeping close tabs on the Barcelona winger, along with a number of La Liga stars.

That snare is one that United have a very good chance of pulling off.

Indeed, reports have suggested Fati’s value now sits at just £31million. What’s more, his father has recently admitted he is ‘angry’ that Fati is not playing a lot of football.

While he’s played 25 La Liga games this season – directly contributing to seven goals – he’s started just 10 of those games.

United could pull off easy snare

United have seemingly now been led straight to the snare. Indeed, Spanish outlet Sport has shown the Red Devils the path they need to take to pull it off.

Indeed, they name Fati among a few players, along with the likes of Ferran Torres and Raphinha, that could be the subject of ‘forced exits’.

Furthermore, there is a suggestion that Barcelona will look to sell if there is an offer.

That United could be the side to make that offer is also mentioned. Indeed, Sport says Fati’s camp have made it known there are a lot of clubs interested in him, ‘especially Manchester United’.

As such, after having been shown the route they need to take in essentially just offering for Fati, it would not be a surprise if United were to do so.

Fati a useful asset

If United do offer for Fati, it would not be hard to see why. At 20 years of age, he’s already shown just how effective he can be while playing top-flight football.

That he scored seven goals and provided one assist in 24 games during his first senior season at Barcelona reinforced how good a player he is.

Despite having not had much chance to show his quality from the start this season, he’s managed to impress.

As such, even if he was not to play every game for United, he’d offer something whenever he did play. What’s more, he’s only going to get better with age, so could become a massive star in years to come.
